Chris Rock has bizarrely admitted to viewers that he doesn't like his children because they're "rich and spoiled".
In his new Netflix stand-up show, Selective Outrage, the 58-year-old comedian spoke about being a father to his two daughters - 20-year-old Lola Simone and 18-year-old Zahra Savannah - whom he shares with ex-wife Malaack Compton-Rock.
During the comedy special - which also featured Rock addressing Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's marriage and the infamous Oscars slap - the comic revealed the hardship of raising children while being a millionaire.
"I love my kids, I love my kids, but I don't like them. I don't like my kids. You know the reason I don't like my kids? Because my kids are rich," he said in the Netflix special, per Daily Mail.
"My kids are rich and spoiled. I know some people are like, 'Chris, you're rich.' Yeah, I'm rich. But I identify as poor. My pronouns are 'broke,'" he added.
Elsewhere in the show, the Grown Ups star gave a glimpse into his harsh parenting style and revealed the lengths he would go to make sure that his children weren't spoiled.
He recalled a time when his eldest daughter, Lola, was on a high school class trip to Portugal and she was caught sneaking out and drinking alcohol.
"Lola and four of her little white girlfriends decided they were bored," Rock said, as cited by People. "Of course, they got busted. Rich white schools, they don't play that s***."
The Saturday Night Live alum explained he and his ex-wife chose to hire lawyers to keep their children in school, but he also wanted his daughter to understand that her actions have consequences.
"These crazy white schools got rich a** white parents and rich a** white parents do not let their kids get kicked out of school,” he said, per Independent. "So all the parents, they all got lawyers, even the ones that were lawyers got lawyers. Good lawyers."
However, Rock soon learned that Lola didn’t comprehend the severity of the situation, recalling: "So, I come home from work and I see Lola outside just laughing with three of her little white girlfriends," adding, "Lola is like, 'Daddy, stop it. You’re so serious! I’ll be back in school in no time.'"
He then decided that the only way to teach her a lesson was by asking the school to kick her out, saying: "'I need my Black child to learn her lesson right now before she is up on OnlyFans and some s***. Please kick her out.'
"They kicked her out. They kicked them all out, but they kicked my child out first," Rock explained to the audience.
Despite allowing Lola to be kicked out of her school, the comedian shared that things eventually turned out for the better as she is currently studying culinary arts in Europe.
