Yes, Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively truly are the king and queen of social media banter, and often use each other as the butt of their many barbs and quips.
And Ryan Reynolds is even using his unique brand of humour to help sell his Aviation Gin. Check out his hilarious commercial made with the 'Peloton Wife':

Now, fans are praising the 43-year-old actor once again, after his new Netflix movie, 6 Underground, was released.
That's right, Reynolds has teamed up with Michael Bay, alongside Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese for the big-budget action movie, and some viewers are already hankering after a sequel.

The movie's synopsis describes its conceit thus;
"What's the best part of being dead? It isn't escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record.
"The best part about being dead...is the freedom. The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you 'no'.

"6 Underground introduces a new kind of action hero. Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future.
"The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will."
Well, if it's high drama, crazy action and Ryan Reynolds you're after, this sounds like your dream movie. Netflix, you've done it again.

If there's one celebrity out there who's able to consistently tickle the internet's funny bone, it's Ryan Reynolds. The Deadpool actor is well known for his awesome relationship with fellow-celebrity and spouse Blake Lively, for his good looks and charisma, and for his rapier-sharp wit. Everyone knows that his hilarious Twitter account is one of the best out there, but did you also know that his Instagram account is just as good? Because it is.
Whether he's making fun of himself for the terrible Green Lantern movie (a CGI super-suit? Really?) or gushing over the prospect of meeting Hugh Jackman in the flesh, it's safe to say that some of the captions that he comes up with for his Instagram pictures are just as funny as a scene from Deadpool. To prove it, we've managed to collate some of our favourite examples of his trademark humour. Scroll down to check them out.

Ryan Reynolds' new movie, 6 Underground, opens with a thrilling 20-minute long car chase.
Directed by Michael Bay, one of the world's biggest names in the action movie department, it's brimming with wall-to-wall action and noise, with the Transformers and Bad Boys director opening the flick with a 20-minute long car chase. It doesn't get more thrilling than that.
If you haven't seen it yet, this is the final trailer for 6 Underground:

However, Bay wasn't the only brilliant mind behind the movie, Deadpool writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese also got involved to create what's been described as "a high testosterone mission movie" as well as acting superstar Ryan Reynolds.
With a $150 million (£115m) budget, no expense was spared in creating truly eye-popping action scenes.
After the Netflix movie's release on December 13, people immediately took to social media to praise its opening scene.

Other stars in the movie include Good Omens actor Adria Arjona, Inglourious Basterds star Mélanie Laurent, If Beale Street Could Talk actor Dave Franco, BlacKkKlansman's Corey Hawkins and more.
The movie's official synopsis reads: "What's the best part of being dead? It isn't escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record.
"The best part about being dead... is the freedom. The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you 'no'."
The synopsis continued: "6 Underground introduces a new kind of action hero.
In short, Reynolds springs to the aid of vigilantes who fake their own deaths to take down a number of notorious criminals. Now, I don't know about you, but to me, this sounds like a pretty thrilling movie!

It's a battle that has raged on for years, superhero versus superhero, Deadpool versus Wolverine. But you'll all be pleased to know that last night the war came to a sweet conclusion. Ryan Reynolds, who has played Marvel antihero Deadpool since 2016, has enjoyed taking swipes at his fellow Marvel star, Hugh Jackman on social media. Striking up a faux feud, Jackman and Reynolds have been throwing shade at each other since 2017, beginning with Reynolds commenting on a picture of the X-Men star posing with fans in Bejing: "Pretty sure those are protesters."
Hugh playfully responded, "Really... Guy... Really?!", and from there the trolling battle commenced. If Jackman posted on social media, you could be sure that Reynolds would soon be there with a witty comment at the ready. Posting a heartfelt message about his wife on their 22nd wedding anniversary, Hugh wrote: "I believe in life we need to see and truly be seen by the most important people in our lives. Deb, from day one, we had that. 22 years later ... it only gets deeper. You and the kids are the greatest gift I will ever receive. I love you a gazillion times around the world [sic]." Just a few hours later, Reynolds hilariously commented: "I gave this 3 months. Tops. I was wrong."
More recently it's been Hugh firing the shots, teaming up with actor Jake Gyllenhaal to prank Ryan. Gyllenhaal, who is due to star in Spider-Man: Far From Home as villain Mysterio, and Jackman seemingly tricked Reynolds into thinking a party they were attending was "ugly sweater" themed. It wasn't.
Reynolds shared the picture with his Twitter followers, garnering over 1,100,000 likes and 203,000 retweets. Fans seemingly love the duo's comedic jabs at one another, relishing in seeing the two stars interactions. Reynolds has said in interviews that his main goal in all of this is to try and convince Jackman to star as Wolverine in a Deadpool movie. Reynolds has gone as far as including a scene in the first Deadpool movie in which the titular character wears a mask of Hugh Jackman!
Jackman has stated that he wouldn't return as the character after retiring from the role after 2017's Logan. Talking to Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan said:
"I would love to do a Deadpool, Wolverine mashup at some point, some kind of Logan thing. I don't know. He's on this kick ball change kick right now. I can't seem to bring him back. I can't seem to bring him back to the violence and mayhem. I'm trying. I talk to him every other day. Every other-other day he takes the call. But yeah, no, it's not really a rivalry. It's war."
However, the feuding has come to an apparent end, with both stars tweeting out pictures of the two shaking hands. Ryan was the first to post the image, with the caption: "Official truce with @realhughjackman! As a gesture of goodwill, I’m gonna make a beautiful ad for his company, Laughing Man Coffee. Can’t wait!" Jackman the picture soon after, writing: "Official truce! I’m going to make the most amazing ad for Aviation Gin. And, look forward to seeing what @Vancityreynolds comes up with in return."

Although we're all sad to see the end of such an iconic feud, we're all excited to see what the duo come up with next - fingers crossed it's the Wolverine/Deadpool crossover we've all been craving!

Deadpool, by all box office calculations, was a monumental hit. The 2016 movie lambasted various quirks and tropes of the superhero genre, as well as bringing all the curse words, ultra-violence and strange sexual references you never thought would be allowed in these kinds of movies - and it really paid off.
The first film ended up clearing up $132 million just on its opening weekend in the United States, and by the end of its 18-week run in theatres, it cleared up $783 million. This made it the top-grossing X-Men movie, gave it the title of the highest opening weekend gross for a Rated R film, bringing the outsider idea into the big leagues.

So, of course, there was a sequel on the cards - and there was no way Deadpool was going to return to our screens without being extremely self-aware about the whole thing. Earlier this year we were treated to Deadpool 2, which also made a hell of a lot of money - though a little bit less than its predecessor managed to rope in.
Personally, the only major disappointment I had with the movie was that they weren't allowed to go with any of their initial out-there ideas for the sequel's title. Speaking to BBC Radio 1 back in May, Deadpool's real-life alter ego Ryan Reynolds revealed that they came close to veering off course with the naming:
“Deadpool: Escape From Unicorn Mountain. Deadpool: Electric Boogaloo. Deadpool: Suburban Commando 2. We had a ton of them. Like, honestly, a hundred of them.
[[instagramwidget||https://www.instagram.com/p/BjR8gnPjji_/?hl=en&taken-by=vancityreynolds]]
"I think it was just so kind of amusing to read them all, that we just sort of forgot to actually put one of them on the thing. I remember, I kept getting emails from one of the studio executives, saying ‘Have you settled on a name for the movie?’ And I was like ‘Deadpool 2? That sounds great.’"
“I know Electric Boogaloo had it’s moment. Which would’ve been really fun. I think that’s the only one that really got through to anybody.”
Now that the we've gone through the pre-release hype and the movie has been and gone from cinemas, it's time for the blu-ray and DVD to give us access to all that behind-the-scenes content. There's the usual commentary, production featurettes and deleted scenes, but one aspect fans are always keen to see is the blooper reel - and this one didn't disappoint.

There are definitely some gems in this video, but I think the little clip of Brad Pitt on set was a highlight for me. His split-second cameo in the film was a great surprise, and it's less surprising that he couldn't make it through without cracking up at least once.
Not only that, but the DVD special features also brought us some great scenes that were unfortunately scrapped and left on the cutting room floor, but now they're online and are definitely worth a watch.
