Critic Whitney Friedlander for Paste Magazine gave the show a 6.5/10 rating and said: "While the genre desperately needs to find its fun once again, unfortunately, Netflix’s attempt with Who Is Erin Carter? just isn’t the series to do it."
Chris Joyce for the YouTube channel Movies and Munchies gave the thriller a low 2.5/5 rating and explained that while it "has an interesting premise for the story and maintains some good intrigue for about half the show," the rest of the drama is "overly convenient and excessively layered" after the context is "established".
Meanwhile, Juan Pablo Russo for EscribiendoCine gave an 8/10 rating and shared (translated from Spanish to English): "Deftly navigates the conventions of the contemporary action genre. With a mixture of suspense, drama, and action, this British production set in Barcelona offers an experience full of intrigue and adrenaline."

And the show has already left audiences and critics impressed, earning an incredible 91% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, given the characters' stirring story, it is no surprise that viewers have been left emotional wrecks after watching the series - as many took to X to share their thoughts on One Day.

"Turned on a random show on Netflix to fall asleep to... ended up binge-watching the entire series. One Day on Netflix... had me in my damn feelings like never before....sheesh," a second wrote.
"I just watched One Day on Netflix… I’m sick to my stomach," another added, with one X user adding: "I’m sorry for the people that went into this show not knowing anything [...] I know they sick to their stomach [right now]."

Beef, Netflix's new TV series, has finally made its highly-anticipated debut, and let's just say that fans can't get enough of it.
Starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, the 10-part comedy series created by Lee Sung Jin for the production company A24, tells the story of two strangers and their newfound feud which was ignited by a random road rage incident.
Unbeknownst to them, the failing contractor and the unfulfilled entrepreneur are now involved in a clash that seems to bring out their deepest and darkest impulses.
An official synopsis from Netflix reads: "The increasing stakes of their feud unravel their lives and relationships in this darkly comedic and deeply moving series."
Even though the series only hit our screens four days ago, it has already been hailed as one of the "best watches" of the year, scoring an almost perfect score of 99% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Not only that but it's rare to find a show that has been praised by fans and critics alike.
Ellen E Jones from the Guardian described the work as a "rare delicacy" adding that the episodes are filled with "entertaining chaos and extremely funny dialogue."
The Telegraph's Benji Wilson also had nothing but positive points to add, stating that "Wong and Yeun are both superlative from the first scene and the script is terrific too: wickedly funny, deft and smart. There is nary a false note in the opening episodes, which are as more-ish as chocolate biscuits."
Jack King from British GQ added that Beef was "the best Netflix show since Squid Game" going on to commend A24 saying: "...It's hard to tear them down when they're routinely putting out works like Beef — the first wagyu cut served up in the Netflix steakhouse in an age."
Viewers also made their opinions heard, taking to Twitter to praise the new Netflix show.
"Me trying to stay sane after watching the most riveting show in a while," wrote one user. "They ate down with the casting, performances, and writing. Soundtracks were insane... A multilayered that touches on so many underlying issues (mental health, trauma, and familial duties)."
"I just finished #BEEFNetflix #beef and wow. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a while. Amazing performances all around. Yeun and wong are fantastic. Funny, thrilling and anxiety inducing. What a show. Netflix has a WINNER," another added.
A third stated that "BEEF is the best Netflix show I've ever seen."
And this user also agreed with that stance.
And it seems as though celebs were also joining in on the hype with actress and fellow funnywoman Mindy Kaling also expressing that she thoroughly enjoyed the show.
Also taking to Twitter, she told her 11.3 million fans: "This show Beef is so good, I love it."
The people have well and truly spoken.
If this doesn't make you want to watch Beef now, I don't know what will.

A new Netflix show has taken the platform by storm and people are even dubbing it the "best show" they've ever seen.
Finding things to watch on Netflix can be tricky because the streaming service is jam-packed full of gold.
That being said, sometimes too much of a good thing can be a bad thing and you spend hours scratching your head.
But fear not, because a new show may take away the stress of finding something new as people are raving about it.
I am, of course, talking about KAOS.
Watch the trailer below:
The show, which stars Hollywood veteran Jeff Goldblum as the Greek god Zeus, centers around a dark prophecy involving three mortals that threatens his reign on Mount Olympus.
The storyline intensifies when Orpheus, portrayed by Killian Scott, embarks on a perilous journey to the underworld to reclaim his deceased wife, Riddy, played by Aurora Perrineau.
This quest sets off a chain of events that could ultimately lead to Zeus’s downfall.
The first season, consisting of eight episodes, dropped on August 28, leaving viewers on edge as they await the season's conclusion to see if the brewing war against the gods will be resolved or left hanging for future installments.
In the meantime, people have rushed to social media to heap praise on the new show.
"KAOS is one of the most creative and compelling shows I’ve seen in a while," one person posted on X.
A second added: "Kaos is SO good, best show I’ve watched in a longggg [sic] time."
A third person said: "Kaos might actually be the best show i’ve ever seen."
With that being said, the show does come with concerns for some, but it puts it in an even more positive light.
Some viewers are already worried that the series may not have a long shelf life, citing Netflix's history of abruptly canceling popular shows.
One dedicated fan, who binged the entire series in just 24 hours, shared their concerns on Reddit.
They wrote: "My only disappointment is that Netflix made it. And I think we all know what Netflix does to awesome shows.
"But my fingers are doubly crossed this time that they continue with this story. This was something special. I just can’t get over how well it was done."
A comment on the post echoed the thoughts: "Couldn't agree more - the more I watched, the more I got worried that I'll get too attached.
"This will definitely be one of the better Netflix series that we'll miss if we won't see more."
Have you seen KAOS yet, and if so, what did you think?
