Gisele Bündchen has broken down in tears over her divorce from Tom Brady.

In a new teaser for an interview with Robin Roberts, Bündchen got emotional when discussing her split from her former lover to whom she was married for over a decade.

"How are you?" Roberts asked in a teaser for IMPACT x Nightline: Gisele Bündchen: Climbing the Mountain.

The question seemingly triggered something deeper for the 43-year-old.

"Well, when you say..." Bündchen started before her voice broke.

She then turned away from the camera and put her hand up while she tried to stop herself from fully breaking down.

"Sorry, guys. I don’t know. Can I have a little moment?" she said, emotion clearly taking over.

Have a look at the clip below:

It comes over a year after the Brazilian model and NFL veteran confirmed that they would be parting ways after 13 years of marriage.

The couple announced their split in separate Instagram posts, with Bündchen writing: "With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce.

"My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care, and attention they deserve," she continued.

"The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always," she added.

At the same time, Brady also posted a statement to his 14.8 million followers, which read: "In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together."

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback then added: "We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.

"We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration," he concluded. "We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you."

After the announcement, Bündchen spoke to Vanity Fair about the difficulties of falling out of love.

"Sometimes you grow apart," she said. "When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make."

She went on to add that "when you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, 'You have to live this life.' You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing."

Elsewhere, Bündchen also shut down rumors that she was unsupportive of Brady's football career, claiming that it was "very hurtful" to hear that people thought she gave him an ultimatum during their relationship.

"People really made it about that. What’s been said is one piece of a much bigger puzzle," she told the outlet. "It’s not so black and white.

"...I have always cheered for him, and I would continue forever," she continued. "If there's one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it's him, believe me. [...] I want all his dreams to come true."

We wish both parties well while they figure things out.
