Congratulations are in order for Keke Palmer who has welcome her first child with boyfriend Darius Jackson.
The 29-year-old Emmy Award winner took to her Instagram page to share the happy news, revealing that she had named her newborn baby Leodis Andrellton Jackson.
Palmer wrote: "Hey Son!!!! Born during Black History Month, with a name to match! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo."
The Nope star posted a series of snaps of herself in the hospital and even two heart-melting photos of her precious baby boy. In the first slide, she shared a picture of what the couple looks like after "only 48hrs of being parents!"
Check out Palmer's post below:In the next slide, she posted a video of herself singing 'Someone' by El Debarge to her boyfriend - who is a fitness instructor and former college football player - in the car after he included the track in some playlists for her when they started dating.
The third slide was a video of Jackson rocking the baby while they were watching the reality TV star Rolling Ray, and the fourth was a heartwarming snap of the two looking at their baby.
"I'm not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world' Hahaha," Palmer wrote, before sharing two photos of her baby and writing: "I'm just playing, my baby face is on this slide."
Many celebrities and users flocked to the comment section to congratulate the Hustlers actress, with Oscar-winning star Viola Davis penning: "Congratulations!!!! Beautiful baby," while Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey said: "so precious!!!!"
One user wrote: "The name! The face! The parents! The family! May God Bless it all. Congrats Keke!!!" and another added: "KEKE OMFG!!! He’s beautiful, I’m so very happy for you and your partner. Xoxo so much love to y'all."
The True Jackson actress revealed her pregnancy news in the most iconic way possible, by unveiling her growing bump during her SNL monologue in December.
"There's some rumors going around," she said during her opening monologue for her hosting debut. "People have been in my comments saying, 'Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,' and I want to set the record straight."
Ripping open the jacket to reveal her baby bump, she delightedly declared: "I am," and added: "I’ve got to say, it’s bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you, y’all, but it’s even worse when they’re correct!"
The former Nickelodeon star has kept details of her relationship with Jackson private, however, she did go "Instagram official" with him in August 2021.
When appearing on The Tamron Hall Show last November, she opened up about posting the photo - that has now been deleted - and announcing her romance to the world.
"It became more difficult to hide," she said. "We spend all this time together, and he really is my closest friend, so it just becomes a thing where I'm not gonna hide something that makes me happy."
