Lisa Marie Presley is set to be buried at Graceland alongside her late son, reports have confirmed.
The news comes amid her sudden death at the age of 54 this week.
As previously reported, Lisa Marie reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California, on Thursday morning (January 12). Multiple sources have detailed how her ex-husband, Danny Keough, performed CPR on her after she was found unresponsive in her bedroom.
The only child of Elvis Presley was subsequently rushed to hospital in Los Angeles, where medics were able to regain a pulse. At the time Priscilla, 77, took to Twitter to update the family's fans on Lisa Marie's condition, writing: "My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world, and ask for privacy during this time."
Just hours later, however, the mom-of-four was pronounced dead. Priscilla released a further statement (via BBC News), saying: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known".
No official cause of death has been revealed.
Just four days before her passing, Lisa Marie visited Graceland, her father's estate in Memphis, Tennessee, on what would have been his 88th birthday on January 8.
Now, less than a week later, CBS News has reported that the mom-of-four is set to be buried there alongside other members of the Presley family, per her representative. Her father Elvis, his parents Gladys and Vernon, and Lisa Marie's son Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2020 aged just 27, are all already buried there.
Additionally, the Graceland mansion and its 13 surrounding acres are in a trust that will go to the benefit of Lisa Marie's three daughters.
Following Benjamin's death in 2020, Lisa Marie was consumed with grief. In August 2022, she wrote a poignant essay for PEOPLE magazine on National Grief Awareness Day, where she discussed the tragedy of losing a child. In particular, Lisa Marie wrote how she had to "keep going" for the sake of her three daughters - 33-year-old Riley Keough, and 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper Lockwood.
"It's a real choice to keep going, one that I have to make every single day and one that is constantly challenging to say the least ... But I keep going for my girls. I keep going because my son made it very clear in his final moments that taking care of his little sisters and looking out for them were on the forefront of his concerns and his mind. He absolutely adored them and they him," Lisa Marie wrote.
She added that she'd "dealt with death, grief and loss since the age of 9 years old," when her father passed away aged 42 from heart disease. "I've had more than anyone's fair share of it in my lifetime and somehow, I've made it this far," she continued.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Lisa Marie Presley's friends, family, and fans at this devastating time.
