Evanna Lynch has revealed she was in a nine-year relationship with a co-star after meeting him on the set of Harry Potter.
The actress, 31, is best known for playing Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter film franchise, first joining the cast in 2007 on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
It was there, during filming for the fifth instalment of the series in 2006, where she met co-tar Robbie Jarvis, 36, who she ended up dating for almost a decade.
Jarvis and Lynch kept their romance under wraps but were together until 2016 when they eventually decided to part ways.
Jarvis had made a brief appearance in the Harry Potter film, playing a younger version of Harry's dad, James, in a flashback scene.
In the short clip, James Potter can be seen laughing while disarming a young Severus Snape with a spell.
Lynch and Jarvis ended up developing a close bond during their time on set together, but only went public with their romance years later with a series of Instagram posts.
According to The Mirror, the couple shared photos from a trip to Hobbiton - where the Lord Of The Rings movies were filmed - in New Zealand, where Jarvis had eaten meat for the last time, revealing it was Lynch that convinced him to go vegan.
He explained: "That holiday was the last time I ate meat and I pity the boy in this photo who had more in common with those sheep than he realised.
"I'm happy to say that I'm now much closer to knowing the true cost of my food."
Lynch also reportedly shared a photo for Jarvis's birthday in May 2015, writing: "Happy 29th Birthday to this little babe!! Sweetest boy! Off to see a show together #happybirthdayrobbie."
The pair eventually ended their romance in 2016 but have remained close friends ever since and even attend events together.
Lynch revealed to UsWeekly at the premiere of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them later that year: "We're both vegans, so we go to a lot of vegan events together. So yeah, we're good friends."
Jarvis also posted a sweet tribute for Lynch's birthday in 2020, sharing a photo of her in a boat on a river, adding: "Happiest of birthdays to someone who is always delighted to see ducklings!"
While Jarvis only made a brief appearance in the Harry Potter world, Lynch reprised her role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and both of the Deathly Hallows movies to fans' delight.
