Shaquille O’Neal fans distracted by 'bulge' in workout video
Shaquille O’Neal left fans wondering what was going on after sharing a simple innocuous workout video.
The gigantic former NBA player was just getting a bit of a pump on at the gym, but some people were led to question whether they could see a bit more than he intended.
Shaquille O’Neal’s workout video attracts a heap of attention
Shaq might not have gone quite as far as Tom Welling, who gave fans a real eyeful the other day when sharing a hotel window selfie.
But, people have questions about this video, for sure.
Incidentally, after the fact, Welling then responded to the speculation, and the Smallville star clearly has a sense of humor about things.
But, back to Shaq, and the matter at hand.
Sharing the video to TikTok, Shaq referred to himself as ‘Arnold Shaqanager’ and showed himself working out at an incline on one of the machines at the gym, interspersed with other videos from his workout.
However, it’s the first one that has caused all the controversy.
Wearing no shirt and just a baggy pair of shorts, people thought that they could see a telltale… bulge at the front, leading to questions about whether it was his… well, you get the idea.
Fans were quick to ask the question.
Shaq’s workout video raises questions about his manhood
One person commented: “Is that what I’m thinking?”
Another said: “What are we seeing?”
"No no no no never been this flabbergasted in my life jesus,” remarked a third.
Other comments suggested that this ‘effect’ could be caused by the wind or a fan behind him, and others still were only there to remark on the fact that Shaq is in remarkable shape for a man of his size in his 50s.
However, the bulk of the comments are focused on only one thing.
“That’s VERY impressive and your work with the weights is okay too,” said another comment.
“It looks heavyyy,” joked someone else.
One thing is for sure, the comments about O’Neal being in great nick for a man of his advancing years are correct - he still looks like he could get a game in the G League at least.
Working out at the gym will do that for you.
The former Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns star is clearly taking his later life health seriously, and that should be a lesson to all of us.
What he’s keeping under those gray shorts - well, that’s another question altogether...
