Will Smith celebrated his mother's 85th birthday in style.
In a video shared on the star's Instagram, he and his mom Caroline Bright can be seen ringing in her 85th year by jamming to Whitney Houston's classic hit 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody'.
"85 Today! Happy Bday, Mom-Mom. Let's dance our way to 100," he captioned the clip, which he posted on Monday, January 17.
She may have just turned 85, but Smith's mom looked spritely as ever as the two held hands and danced around an outdoor patio. They were surrounded by tables and chairs, some decorated with floral arrangements and others laden with food and drinks.
Smith - who won a Golden Globe last week for his performance in King Richard - sang along to the hit, pointing to himself when the lyrics "with somebody who loves me" played.

He wasn't the only family member to share a clip of the celebrations. His 21-year-old daughter Willow also posted a video of herself joining in the dance.
In a clip posted to her Instagram story, the Meet Me At Our Spot singer can be seen in a bright green outfit hugging her father and grandmother. The trio dance and sing together as I Wanna Dance With Somebody comes to an end.

A former Philadelphia school board administrator, Caroline shared Smith and his siblings Pam, Ellen, and Harry with her ex-husband Willard Carrol Smith Sr., a US Air Force veteran, and refrigerator engineer.
The couple officially divorced in 2000, though they originally separated in 1981 when Smith was 13. In his self-titled memoir Will, the actor and rapper recalled witnessing Willard abuse his mother and admitted that for a period of time he wanted to kill his father in revenge.
Despite this tension, the two maintained a close relationship until 2016, when Willard passed away from cancer.
