A social media influencer has provoked controversy after showing off her $2 million apartment in a new video.

According to the Independent, Nicole Sanchez, aka Neekolul, has been accused of hypocrisy online after posting a video flaunting her new property in a YouTube video uploaded on Tuesday, June 1.

Sanchez, who boasts over a million followers on various social media platforms, went viral last year after uploading a clip of herself to TikTok sporting a Bernie Sanders t-shirt while dancing to a song with the lyrics: "Whatever you say, Boomer. OK, Boomer."

Watch Sanchez's tour of her luxurious apartment in the video below:

She also previously endorsed a T-shirt for New York representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s "tax the rich" policy.

Despite her left-wing leanings, the vlogger didn't seem shy about inviting her fans on a tour of her luxurious new home in her latest ten-minute-long video.

The clip has already racked up over 100,000 views, with a ratio of 14,000 dislikes to 2,000 likes, and it's safe to say fans were less than impressed with what Sanchez had to say.

Finally, another follower penned: "I appreciate the fact that you’re doing well for yourself, and that’s great and all, but throwing this extravagance in people’s faces like this to profit even more off of instead of actually HELPING them is disgusting.

"You really should be ashamed of yourself and the content like this that you put out. It really says how much you care about your supporters who put you where you are now. [sic]"

However, on Twitter, some users have defended the content creator.

One person wrote: "A whole lot of people in here who really, really don’t understand what the word 'socialism' means. Like at all. Completely clueless. It’s not devotion to being poor, idiots."

Meanwhile, another added: "Why are people assuming she doesn’t pay taxes. Y’all simp until you see someone doing well. Good for you girl, keep doing your thing. [sic]"

Finally, someone else wrote: "People saying 'tax the rich' in reply to this tweet have no fundamental understanding on what they are saying.

"She is wealthy and yet still expects herself and the rich to be taxed higher, if they aren’t, then she is allowed to spend her money in any which way she pleases."

In a previous video, Sanchez opened up about her net worth, claiming that she should still be allowed to hold the same political views.

Per Independent, Sanchez stated: "All I’m doing is standing by the beliefs that I started off with.

"Whether I’m making this money or not, I just feel like it’s not something to be rude about. Because there’s nothing to be rude about."
