When it comes to delicious chicken, Chick-fil-A is one of those places you always forget about. Of course, KFC is the big name in fried chicken, with its original herbs spices and bizarre marketing campaigns, but those of you with a love for the underdog will really like Chick-fil-A. It's pretty good chicken as well, which always helps.
But the only thing with Chick-Fil-A is that you have to get up, put on pants, and head to their store in order to enjoy that perfect poultry. It's enough to make you order a pizza or a Chinese takeaway instead, isn't it? But Chick-fil-A have a solution to this age-old dilemma; a pretty simple solution at that.
Plus - so happy are they with their solution, they decided to give us all a special something in the process. So let's get into how you can get a free chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A. You can't have a bad day with a free chicken sandwich, can you?
"So many of our guests' busy lives and family commitments have them strapped for time," explains Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A's senior vice president and chief marketing officer. But he's also pretty hopeful that an official partnership with DoorDash will help out with that. "Delivery is one way we can help them get a quick yet high-quality meal. If they're unable to come to us, we'll come to them."
So, as of now, you can get Chick-fil-A delivered directly to your door - a blessed day, if there ever was one, for all chicken lovers. Thanks to a new partnership with DoorDash, Chick-fil-A's entire menu will be rolled out to houses across the United States of America, but that's not all of the good news today.
To celebrate the launch of their new delivery service, Chick-fil-A will be giving out as many as 200,000 chicken sandwiches, so long as you make an order of over five dollars before November 20. Just enter the promo code "CFADELIVERY" into the DoorDash app once you're ready to make your order, and bam! Free sandwich.
Chick-fil-A have been testing out delivery with DoorDash since 2017, and other partners had also been trialled before that. Certain cities, like Louisville, Kentucky, Nashville, Tennessee and other "delivery-focused" locations, also became available for Chick-fil-A delivery, but now, it's going nationwide!
But... there's a tiny catch. Due to concerns over a desire to "maintain both DoorDash's commitment to high-quality service and Chick-fil-A's food quality", you can only order Chick-fil-A to deliver if you live within a 10 minute drive from a branch.
It's not ideal... but if you don't live within 10 minutes from a Chick-Fil-A, then maybe you should be moving as it were. So there you have it, guys! Chick-fil-A delivers now, and if you're quick, you can even get a free chicken sandwich for your troubles. Now, I don't know about you, but that sounds utterly delightful.
