Some new findings suggest that men may have two particular pleasure points, which work in different ways.
Targeting these two areas can vastly improve the sexual experience of any man, but don't take it from me, take it from scientists who are experts in the field.
These two extremely sensitive areas are in and around a man's intimate area - stimulating them are said to lead to higher levels of satisfaction when doing the deed, apparently.
You may have heard of the "G-spot," but there is another, known as the "P-spot" - there's a pretty big difference between them as well.
It's not common knowledge, though, given that new research has uncovered a lot that we didn't previously know about male pleasure.
So, how can you differentiate them?
A team of researchers at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain, led by scientist Alfonso Cepeda-Emiliani, carried out an anatomic study of the male penis and found its main erogenous zone.
You may be a bit lost and wondering what they have chosen to call this area.
Known as the frenular delta, it is the small area located on the underside of a member, where the head meets the shaft.
It is described as "a centre of sexual sensation" for men, with experts explaining that this is because the area has far more nerve endings, meaning it is more sensitive.
While you may be questioning everything you've ever learned about the topic and assuming that you've got it wrong after all these years, you're not alone.
It was accepted that the head was the most sensitive part of the penis until this new research surfaced, meaning that the frenular delta is now known as the male G-spot.
You may be a bit confused as the majority of people believed that the sensitive spot was elsewhere, with many sexual health experts also believing that the G-spot was somewhere else entirely.
It was widely believed in the past that the pleasure plant was associated with the prostate, which was considered the male G-spot, as stimulating it was said to give a man amazing pleasure with heights never seen before.
The gland, which is about the size of a walnut, sits under your bladder and above the penis, just in front of the rectum.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, the prostate "creates fluids that help make up semen," and that "connective tissues and glandular tissues make up its structure."
This explains its high sensitivity and how men may feel unprecedented levels of pleasure from a prostate massage - this has now been coined as the P-spot.
The Cleveland Clinic went on: "A prostate massage can be given by another person, but you can also give yourself a prostate massage by inserting a finger into your anus and gently pressing against and massaging your prostate.
"The longstanding theory behind a prostate massage is that it helps express stagnant fluid and relieve symptoms of erectile dysfunction, painful ejaculation, prostatitis, and pain in your pelvic region."
Despite these findings, further research is needed to back these claims up with solid evidence.
But when the prostate's ejaculatory ducts are stimulated, it is said to result in euphoria.
In fact, those who are experts on the act have told men not to avoid this sort of thing when they're getting hot and heavy.
Speaking to Men's Health in 2025, Alicia Sinclair, founder and CEO of sex toy brand b-Vibe explained: "Guys have to remember this: the sensations and experiences that feel good have nothing to do with your sexual orientation or gender."
She said that there is "nothing inherently feminine about receiving anal stimulation and penetration," as you can decide what anal play means to you.
Apparently, letting go of these stigmas can result in you discovering "some amazing opportunities."
