People on social media have begged a bride to divorce her husband after he was apparently "disrespectful" while walking down the aisle.

The newlyweds in question had just made their vows and were headed back down the aisle hand-in-hand when the groom had his head down and phone in hand, barely looking at his beaming bride.

It wasn't clear what the groom was trying to do, but from the clip, it's assumed he was texting.

TikTok user @brandotyft re-posted the clip (which was eventually deleted) onto the social media app, and netizens didn't hold back.

The TikTok clip was captioned with the hashtag #EarlyRedFlags, and many social media users agreed, saying that the woman should file for divorce. "This real sad I was divorcing him the same day no joke [sic]," someone wrote.

Another person added: "Red flag [...]."

"Divorce, babe. Divorce babe," someone else said.

Another added: "Is he for real. That's so disrespectful to his bride and everyone else,"

"If I'm the lady I will just seize his phone and if [he] wants to say anything I will create a scene and leave. Height of disrespect," one woman wrote.

This isn't the first time some awkward wedding footage has been published online, after one newlywed took to Facebook to share a clip of the moment her wedding videographer insulted her wedding guest.

After reviewing the raw footage of their special day, Lois Ghost-Adderley and her husband revealed that they were horrified to hear their photographer insulting their wedding guests to his girlfriend (whom the photographer apparently "insisted" on bringing for the day).

The bride attached a video to her post showing the moment a male voice can be heard saying: "What the f**k is wrong with these people? F***ing m*ngs," while the wedding guests talk among themselves. Ghost-Adderley says that not only did the couple not receive an apology for the comments, but that the videographer blocked them across social media.

"So I highly doubt he is sorry," she wrote on her Facebook post. "I want to spread awareness of his unprofessionalism."

Well, there are a few lessons to be learned here - firstly, don't record yourself insulting wedding guests and, secondly, definitely don't text while walking down the aisle.
