An attendee of an adult-themed weekend getaway recently lifted the veil on what takes place behind closed doors at a 24-hour adult summer camp, and it involves much more than toasting marshmallows on a campfire and team-building activities.
Writing for the New York Post, Todd Farley recalled his experience at Camp MorningWood, a “steamy 24-hour sex party” involving outdoor activities and camping with consent-focused erotic exploration.
In the firsthand account with the headline "My wild weekend at a 24-hour sex 'camp' — complete with steamy tent play, naughty costumes and more," Farley described the event as “a naughty nod to the wilderness escapes,” creating a perfect festival for outdoorsy swingers.
"The hottest sign-up of the summer was a sex camp," an immersive retreat complete with themed dress codes, educational workshops, and designated private areas.

According to Farley, attendees pitching tents on the campsite were given full freedom to participate at their own comfort level.
The event had a 24-hour schedule, allowing activities to run seamlessly through the night. The writer also noted that while the atmosphere was steamy and sexually charged, strict boundaries and explicit consent protocols were enforced throughout the venue by organizers.
Walking around the festival site, Farley spotted “half-naked bodies, a BYOB bar, a hot tub filled with naked bodies (which counted as a 'water activity') and a backyard fire pit surrounded by couches and numerous playspaces. Oh, so many playspaces.
“Everywhere I turned, sex was happening in every one of the 14 bedrooms. Sex in the Mirror Room, sex in the Princess Room, sex in the Voyeur Room, and sex in the basement.”
Ensuring the sex did not distract too much from the theme, guests were not allowed to enter the venue “without a sexy, camp-themed costume, which made sense as a swarm of eager attendees clad in neck kerchiefs paired with a pair of skimpy khakis and a slew of open shirts that revealed heaving breasts and shorts cut high enough to reveal male and female butts alike ran past me.”
Workshops hosted during the daytime hours focused on communication, kink education, and wellness before transitioning into the nocturnal social events.
The writer pointed out that despite the salacious reputation of such gatherings, the experience felt structured and communal.
