The world of fast fashion is ever-changing, and sometimes what's "in" can leave even the most fashion-conscious among us scratching our heads.
Now, a new bodysuit from budget retailer Shein has been mocked online for looking like Borat's mankini.
On the off chance that you're unfamiliar with the mankini, let us explain. It's a long green thong that stretches up over a man's shoulders and was popularised by Sacha Baron Cohen in his 2006 hit movie Borat.

But now Shein has released a bodysuit that is just as figure-hugging of a person's neither regions, and commentators had a lot to say about it on social media.

The Plus V-bar High Cut Bodysuit was unveiled to the world on Facebook on Sunday using pictures of a model in the £9.99 long-sleeved piece, which is cut just below her bust.
The unusual design exposes her waist, hips, and half of her buttocks, and it wasn't long before a Shein customer pointed out the similarities between the piece and the mankini.
Per the Sun, they subsequently shared a picture of the outfit in a Facebook shopping group writing: "What is this!?"
The post was immediately met with countless laughing and shocked face emojis.
One Facebook user wrote: "High cut? That's cut so damn high it's practically flossing her teeth."
A second added: "Sneeze and you'll be sliced up to your belly button."
Meanwhile, a third wrote: "Hello bacterial vaginosis."

However, some members of the Facebook group did sympathize with the model.
One wrote: "Honestly, I can see the pain in her eyes. Poor lass."
But another Facebook user said that the woman "looks too comfortable in it for my liking tbh."
Other members of the group simply responded by posting pictures of Baron Cohen in his famous mankini.

The picture was also slammed by the group for appearing heavily photoshopped around the woman's crotch.
One viewer wrote: "I reckon even Barbie and her none existent flaps would be like nope."
Whereas another said: "Someone's been photoshopping Sims."
The bodysuit is described on Shein's website as being "sexy" with a "slight stretch".
