Starbucks literally just finished racial bias training - we've been told time and time again that discrimination against anyone for essentially existing and doing all the crap people seemingly do every day is not right (you shouldn't have to be told anyway, it should be instilled upon you from birth) yet here we are again with another clown.

Footage has emerged of a man racially abusing a worker at a fast food restaurant for not honoring his burger voucher.

The man launches a vile tirade against the server at the Jack in a Box restaurant in Manvel, Texas where at one point he threatens to send her "back to Mexico."

The original video by Lupita Rangel, was posted here by Wolfie Hernandez, the original post translates to, "I buy you a ticket back to #Mexico", so threaten this man to a Latina employee in a #jackinthebox, apparently the man got upset because he didn't make a coupon that was already beaten, the facts happened to #south From #Houston."

Lupita herself posted: "Never thought i'd experience racism so close."

Another member of staff steps in to try and identify what the issue is. The man responds "She lied her a** off. She thought she could get away with it." While the member of staff tries to tell the man that he will be getting what he had asked for, the man interjects, and claims he had seen the woman dropping food.

He then asks the woman's name and says "goodbye Maria. I'm going to buy you a ticket back to Mexico." The man then storms out of the premises. The video has been viewed over 86,000 times, with many people sharing their outrage at the footage.

Jason Steinberg wrote: "Another day, another angry racist." Christopher Green wrote: "That's horrible. People go through life angry about the smallest things and that talk such hatred ... karma will get him."

Hopefully, a similar fate befalls the unnamed man as it did New York lawyer, Aaron Schlossberg. His racist rant lead to some rather delicious just desserts.

People posted so many negative reviews on his law firm’s Yelp listing that Yelp themselves had to intervene. The company says its policy for news making businesses is to remove posts “that appear to be motivated more by the news coverage itself than the reviewer’s personal consumer experience with the business”.

New reviews about the law firm that apparently slipped through the filtering range from ironically helpful—like how concerned New Yorkers can lodge complaints—to tabloid headline-like condemnations (and subtle sketch show references) such as: “Ya done messed up now, A-a-ron!!”

Schlossberg is no longer welcome in the building where he rents office space. This is probably the result of critics quickly locating Schlossberg’s office listing on Google Maps.

Not only did this include changing the business category to “Mexican Restaurant” and swapping a photo of the attorney for an image of a dog being hit in the face with a frisbee, they also created a GoFundMe page raising “$500 to send a Mariachi band to cheer up the staff and attorneys at The Law Office of Aaron M. Schlossberg Esq. after a difficult day”.

Unsurprisingly, Schlossberg has a history of being a complete a**hole. Internet sleuths and activists dug up dirt on Schlossberg, including video of him calling someone an “ugly f**king foreigner” and photos of him in the company of noted pro-Trump trolls not to mention berating Jewish people for going on marches for Palestine. Talk s**t, get hit...with the scorn of millions of Americans, united in their total disgust of you. Your time is coming, blue t-shirt man.

A man has taken to social media to share a video perfectly explaining why "white pride" really isn't a thing.

Sharing a video to his TikTok account, Michael - who goes by the handle @tizzyent - did a video response to a question he received on a previous video in which he was asked: "Why can't you be proud of being white?"

Michael, who has 1 million followers on the platform, said in no uncertain terms that there is "no such thing as white pride".

He then went on to explain the reasons why - despite there being a visible presence of white nationalists in the US - it isn't a thing.

"There is no such thing as white pride, in part because there is no white culture," he explained.

He continues, "You can have pride based on your ethnicity, like Scottish, German, Irish. You can have regional pride, like Southern pride. These things usually apply to your cultural identity like how you grew up etc."

"And some people argue ‘well other colors have pride’, and no, they don’t. Chicano pride, Latino pride, Asian pride, those aren’t colors," he explains.

However, there is one exception to this rule, according to Michael - Black pride.

It is important to note, though, that he is referring specifically to Black pride in an American context, where, as a result of the transatlantic slave trade, many Black Americans lost touch with their roots.

And so Black people in the US - generally speaking - do not know about their specific heritage aside from the fact that they are Black.

"They’ve had a unique experience no one else has. Black Americans were robbed of their culture. They don’t know where they come from. Two Black Americans meet, they could have come from warring African tribes, they don’t know," he says.

"What they do know is that their American experience was similar. In other words, the thing that connects them is the color of their skin and how society has treated them as a result," Michael continues.

Michael then goes on to explain that the terms white pride and Black pride have very different origins.

"You also have to consider where the terms White pride and Black pride originated; White pride was coined by White supremacists. Black pride is from the Black Power and Civil Rights Movement," he states.

"One represents superiority and hate and the other a fight for equality."

Michael's video has received an impressive 3.2 million likes and over 60,000 comments at the time of writing.

An Asian-American township trustee and US army veteran has unbuttoned his shirt during a Town Hall meeting to send an important message about racism in the US.

Trustee Lee Wong was speaking at a West Chester Township meeting in front of members of the community when he started to speak about his experiences since immigrating to America when he was 18-year-old.

During the comments section of the meeting, 69-year-old Wong spoke about a time when he was beaten up in Chicago due to his race. After taking his attackers to court, Wong revealed they received no punishment.

"For too long, we have, I have, put up with a lot of s*** in silence, excuse the language, too afraid to speak out, fearing more abuse and discrimination," Wong said during Tuesday's board meeting.

"Things are getting worse and worse," Wong said.

During his impassioned speech, Wong opened his shirt to show a series of scars across his chest.

As he took off his tie and unbuttoned his shirt, Wong said that will not tolerate racism anymore, telling those in attendance:

"People question my patriotism, that I don't look American enough.

"They could not get over this face. I want to show you something, because I'm not afraid. I don’t have to live in fear, intimidation, insults."

Wong - lifting his vest to show his scars - then told the community: "This is sustained from my service in the US military. Is this patriotic enough?

"I'm not ashamed to walk around anymore."

Per Cincinnati.com, Wong served 20 years in the military.

At the conclusion of his speech, Wong said: "We are all the same. We are all equal." He then walked away from the dais with his jacket in his hand.

The veteran's words come after eight people - six of whom were Asian - were killed in an attack on spas in Atlanta.

NBC News reports that the number of recorded hate crimes against Asian-American people in the United States has increased sharply over the last year.

According to a report from the organization Stop AAPI Hate, approximately anti-Asian 3,800 incidents were reported in the US between February 2020 and March 2021 - around 1,200 more hate incidents than the previous year.

Commenting on the data, a professor of Asian American studies at San Francisco State University Russell Yeung told NBC: "There is an intersectional dynamic going on that others may perceive both Asians and women and Asian women as easier targets."

It's a sad fact that black Americans are forced to put up with an unwarranted amount of discrimination and abuse in their day-to-day lives, and talk to any minority in the United States, and you're sure to hear more than a few anecdotes from them about the racist treatment they've endured at the hands of bigots. Even members of the police force are not immune to this kind of harassment.

Indeed, I've never been in a position where someone has attacked me because of the colour of my skin or my ethnic background - however, I can imagine that it must be pretty aggravating for those who have to put up with it. I'm not sure that I wouldn't fly off the handle completely were I a person of colour, and it's damn hard to keep your composure when you're being called every name under the sun with a few slurs thrown in for good measure. That's what makes this next example of stoicism and dignity under pressure so impressive.

The video, which was posted by Twitter user StanceGrounded, shows a man handcuffed on the ground, possibly in a state of intoxication, shouting a torrent of racist abuse at a black female police officer, who is pacing around the man with a colleague and waiting for backup.

StanceGrounded was impressed by the officer's poker face and dignity, and took a video of the incident (which apparently occurred in Brooklyn) and uploaded it to Twitter on Friday, September 14, where it quickly went viral. StanceGrounded captioned the video: "Watch this racist white man repeatedly call this black female police officer the N-word trying to invoke a reaction. She stands unfazed and unbothered. What a QUEEN! ... If the roles were reversed, a person of colour wouldn't live. I salute her patience."

However, not all the commenters were so impressed with StanceGrounded's moniker, with one Twitter-user named Hannah Drake stating: "You really believe she is unfazed and unbothered? You think that didn’t cut into the core of her being? You think she didn’t go home and reflect on that? You think she didn’t question her job and why she puts up with this? The problem is, you believe she is unbothered."

She added: "As a Black woman I can guarantee she isn’t unfazed and unbothered. But she is doing her job as best she knows how because she has worked for her position because she has to put food on the table, because she knows Black women can’t just “go off” without consequences ... If this is what it takes to be labelled a queen then I don’t want it and I dare say she would reject that crown if it’s connected to this incident."

It is currently unknown who the police officer in question is, or the identity of the man committing the hate crime. However, the nameless cop stands as symbol of the continuing oppression faced by black Americans, as well as of an ideal member of the police.

We hear a lot about Nazis and unconscious racism, but what about 'ordinary' people among us who are ready to snap and go on the most insane racist tirades possible? Average guys in suits who, if they have a bad enough day, can break bad like Walter White and become insane white supremacists just to let off some steam? William Boucher, a 24 year old man, is facing felony charges for an assault outside of a Chicago Starbucks. The incident was videotaped in June, and Boucher is in Cook County jail on $50,000 bail. Since being charged for the assault, four separate felony hate crime charges have been leveled against him. Here's the video: Boucher goes insane inside the Starbucks, but outside, when a black observer gets targeted, it gets even more wild. He shouts: "Shut up, slave!" and the man rushes toward him. The fight is prevented by a bystander, but Boucher continues to scream racial hatred, shouting: "Do not talk to me! Your children are disposable vermin!" He spits on one of the black men watching. Taunting a black man walking away, Boucher yells: "Get on all fours! Do not walk off on two legs!" After the screaming, Boucher walks away in a huff. It seems like it's over...until a seemingly homeless man approaches Boucher, probably to discuss how crazy he is for being a mad racist. Instead of listening, Boucher punches him, and the homeless man is thrown to the ground. Damn. Two men run and tackle Boucher to the ground, ending his reign of terror and his warpath. Now, on $50,000 bail, Boucher will have a long time to think on his actions. He has more hate crime felonies than most people have close friends. Why is it that some of the most racist men alive look so...dweeby? If they're going to argue for the superiority of their race, they always seem a little doughy, a little subpar. The homeless man who he punched, by the way, was 59 years old. He was taken to the hospital for injured eyes, and at least he's doing better now that Boucher is in his cell. The black men who Boucher insulted deserve their peace of mind. After enduring a racist tirade like that, the last thing they need is to have to deal with William Boucher again. Gerald Mitchell, one of the black men who Boucher spit on, told the Chicago-Sun-Times: “He said a lot of stuff that didn’t make it on the video. I try to see the good in people. I don’t know his background. I would try to give him the benefit of the doubt. I just know it was downright wrong. Disgusting." Mitchell is so generous here! What a truly nice guy. “I hope he learns something from this," he added. Starbucks, of course, had to cover their hide: “We have absolutely no tolerance for this type of behavior in our stores, and are grateful to the partners (employees) and customers who stepped in to help until officers arrived.” Well, at least justice has been served.
