A woman previously known as "The World's Hairiest Girl" now consistently shaves the excess hair off her body as she poses in loved-up photos with her new partner.
Supatra "Natty" Susuphan, now 24, has an extremely rare genetic condition called Ambras Syndrome - also known as Werewolf Syndrome - which is a kind of hypertrichosis that leads to excess growth of body hair.
Thick hair naturally grows on her face, ears, arms, legs, and back as a result of the genetic condition, which is believed to have only affected around 50 people worldwide since the Middle Ages.
Before research was carried out into the disease by the medical community, those affected by it were shunned as "werewolves".
The Guinness World Records officially gave Susuphan the title of the 'World's Hairiest Girl' in 2010, and she became recognized worldwide.
Undergoing laser treatment did not stop Susuphan's excessive growth, and she now shaves all over her body if she wants to rid herself of her hair.
While Susuphan has been open about some of the cruel names she was called at school - including Wolf Girl and Chewbacca - her friends and family have always supported her.
She previously told the Guinness World Records: "I don't feel any different to anyone else, and I've got lots of friends at school.
"Being hairy makes me special. There were a few people who used to tease me and call me monkey face but they don't do it anymore.
"I'm very used to this condition. I can't feel the hair as it has always been like this. I don't feel anything. It does sometimes make it difficult to see when it gets long. I hope I will be cured one day."
However, the condition certainly has not impacted her love life.
In 2018, multiple outlets including Metro and the Daily Mail reported that Susuphan had recently married the "love of her life" - but she now appears to have a new partner.
The young woman - from Bangkok, Thailand - has been posting photos of her hair-free face on Facebook for a couple of years now, as well as pictures and videos posing alongside the new love of her life.
Check out a recent video below:
In a recent post, shared in April 2025, Susuphan's new partner celebrated their seven-month anniversary, writing (translated): "Happy Anniversary 7 months [...] Love you the same, naughty boy. Thank you for spoiling me with everything. Stay for me to bother you for a long time. Stay for me telling you the important day every year."
It is not known how the pair met and the circumstances surrounding Susuphan's split from her previous partner. The new couple are officially in a "relationship", according to both their Facebook profiles.
We wish the young couple all the health and happiness in the world!

Trying to fit in as a woman in society can be a little difficult sometimes. If you want to follow the standards of "conventional" beauty, you have to dress a certain way, do your makeup to a particular standard, and - most painstakingly - make sure that practically every inch of your body is stripped of its natural hair.
However, more and more women these days are realizing that there's no real reason that we do this, and that having a natural body can look and feel just as good as (or better than) the hairless skin we dedicate so much time and money to.
One woman who's truly embraced this more than most is 26-year-old Nova Galaxia. Nova has a condition called PCOS - Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome - which actually affects between five and 10 per cent of women around the world, but hers is particularly severe. One of the symptoms of the condition is excess hair growth on the face and body, meaning that Nova is able to grow a pretty impressive beard.
For ten years, Nova shaved her face for fear of being bullied. And, when it first started growing through, she was teased by other kids at school.
"A boy in my class at high school pointed at my face and said I had a better beard than he probably ever would," she said.
"By this stage, I was shaving every single day before school. It was getting really thick and I would have a panic if I ever forgot my razor at sleepovers. I’d get up early and shave, pretending I was desperate for a shower, but really I couldn’t stand to let myself be seen with a beard."
Understandably, she was very conscious of her appearance, as we've all been told that facial hair is unnatural for women. In reality, the vast majority of women grow at least some facial hair - whether it be a light peach fuzz around the corners of the jaw or a full-on mustache - so it really isn't something to fret about.
"I was worried people would think I was a freak if I let my hair grow out."
So, when Nova met Ash - a runway model - she felt more pressure than ever to look her best. Ash, who does not identify as male or female, had an instant spark with Nova, and the two quickly became a couple.
After a while, Ash encouraged Nova to embrace her look - so she did. And Ash is a big fan of it. "I love her beard," they said.
However, they did add that the pair of them sometimes get strange looks or comments.
"Yes people do stop and stare at us, watch us walk down the street and ask Nova random questions to determine her gender, but she’s never been happier and that makes me proud. I adore her, beard and all."
Nova herself has faced a lot of online criticism from trolls, but she takes it in her stride.
"People have accused me of pretending to be a woman, or they think I’m transgender, but I don’t care. It’s not an insult to be trans, I’m just not – I’m a gay woman.
"Anyway, with my hipster beard, I feel happier now than I have ever been. I am with someone I love, who supports my decision and loves me for me and my beard. ‘I have no idea when I am going to stop growing it. It’s a part of me now, and I love it."
Kudos to Nova for embracing her natural look, despite what the haters might say. Nobody should be attacked or criticized because of the way they were made - and both Nova and Ash are giving hope to anyone else who might be self-conscious about some physical aspect they have.

A teenager has secured the title of "hairiest face on a person" thanks to his abundant facial fuzz.
The record was awarded to 18-year-old Lalit Patidar by Guinness World Records, with an official tally of 201.72 hairs per square centimeter, which was verified in Milan, Italy, on February 13, 2025.
Lalit, who is from India, has Hypertrichosis - also known as werewolf syndrome - which is a rare condition that causes excessive hair growth anywhere on the body.
The teen's face is over 95 percent covered in hair, according to Guinness World Records, with the most densely covered part being his forehead.
Lalit is one of only around 50 documented cases reported worldwide since the Middle Ages.
He shared the news of his record-breaking achievement in an Instagram post on March 10, writing: "Proud of me," adding in an interview with the Guinness World Records: "I am speechless. I don’t know what to say because I’m very happy to get this recognition."
He revealed that his unique condition did make starting school quite tough as the other children were fearful of his unusual looks.
Lalit explained: "They were scared of me but when they started knowing me and talking to me they understood I was not so different from them, and it was just on the outside that I looked different, but I’m not different inside."
He revealed that while some people treat him differently, most people are welcoming of him, adding: "Sometimes people treat me not very well. But it’s very rare. Usually, people take me very good, and also people are good to me. It depends on the person."
Some people have even told him he should remove his facial hair, but he prefers to embrace his unique look: "There is not much to say to people about that. I tell them that I like how I am and I don’t want to change my look."
He revealed that his family has always been supportive of him, including with starting his own YouTube channel following his day-to-day life.
Lalit's record was officially verified in Italy on the television show Lo Show dei Record, where the density of hair on his face was measured.
He was assessed by a local trichologist, who shaved tiny portions of his face to be able to measure the amount of hairs per square centimeter.
Lalit, who dreams of traveling the world and experiencing other cultures, has already amassed over 266,000 followers on Instagram and over 108,000 on YouTube.
