An influencer who appeared on Perez Hilton's livestream has shared an impassioned response after people accused her of "milking it."
Following Perez Hilton’s hospitalization on Tuesday after reports of him self-harming on a TikTok livestream, an influencer who appeared on the broadcast has hit back at claims she was “milking it”.
Hilton appeared on the livestream covered in blood after appearing to self-harm repeatedly in front of thousands of concerned viewers.
After the events of Tuesday, his team commented: “We are aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client. At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well being, as well as the well being of his family.”
The livestream quickly gained traction across social media, with the video being shared thousands of times on X, formerly Twitter.
Subsequently, dozens of calls were made to 911 by those watching the events play out in real time, helping police identify Hilton’s house and enter to “safely recover” the media personality.
While on the livestream, there were a number of influencers also part of the broadcast. One of them, Mina, has since claimed that some of those involved were actively encouraging it.
Discussing it on her own livestream, she said: “You don’t give a f**k about Perez, you saw the views going up and you stuck to it. The minute that you saw the views going up, when you started acting sad you milked it."
“The f**k? And I think Perez needs real help. I do, I do, but these people that are milking it for their own s**t, for their own views, that’s even weirder.”
Targeting one particular influencer, who hasn’t been revealed, she continued to say: “I don’t give a f**k, I think this s**t’s weird. I don’t give a f**k, y’all can go in her chat and talk s**t about her, I will say this s**t right to her face. I don’t give a f**k. She just told me yesterday that she trolls and fake cries on purpose to get views. The f**k, and all of a sudden, like why is she ok now?
“Let me go on other people’s s**t, I don’t give a f**k, I’m going to talk s**t about everyone. Y’all are some clout-chasing a** b***hes.”
She claimed that Perez is “dealing with some real life s**t” right now, and that neither she nor her partner were making light of the situation.
“Anti [her boyfriend] thought it was a skit which we previously said bc the chat was saying it and Lindo said that too. At the end we were concerned and very worried for Perez. Nowhere here did anyone say ‘you missed a spot’ stop spreading false narratives,” she wrote in the video’s caption.

Perez Hilton has reportedly been taken to hospital in Miami, Florida, after authorities responded to concerns that he had been livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media.
A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office told NBC News that deputies had been called to the home of the former celebrity blogger following reports of an individual "who was livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media."
While the sheriff's office did not identify Hilton by name, the statement was issued in response to questions about the media personality.
A subsequent update from the department confirmed that the individual had been "safely recovered" before being transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
According to the statement, deputies spoke with family at the property, who confirmed the individual had been alone inside the home.
A TikTok livestream that circulated online on Tuesday allegedly showed Hilton with blood visible on his body and cuts to his arms and torso while appearing to draw a knife across himself. The video has since been removed from the platform.
Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan, co-heads of management company Golden Artists Entertainment, which represents Hilton, said they were aware of the footage.
"We are aware of the concerning content circulating online," they said in a statement.
"At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him."
They added: "Our primary concern is Perez's health and well-being, as well as the well-being of his family."
Hilton, whose real name is Mario Armando Lavandeira Jr, rose to prominence in the early 2000s through his celebrity gossip website, PerezHilton.com, which launched in 2004 and became one of the internet's most recognizable entertainment news platforms.
Throughout his career, Hilton has also attracted controversy. He faced criticism for publicly outing LGBTQ celebrities before they had spoken about their sexuality themselves, was accused of stalking by Lady Gaga in 2013, and was previously sued over recordings involving Britney Spears.
He also sparked backlash while serving as a judge at the 2009 Miss America pageant after making derogatory remarks about a contestant who opposed same-sex marriage.

They said in a statement on Hilton's website: "Our family wants to once again thank everyone who has reached out with prayers, kind messages, and support for Perez. Your compassionate humanity during this heartbreaking time has meant more than words can express.
"This has been incredibly difficult and emotional for us, made even harder because very little information has been made available to our family. While we continue to wait for further updates, we remain hopeful.
"We have also been able to confirm that Perez is able to communicate, which has given our family hope."
They added: "We respectfully ask for your continued prayers, understanding, and grace as Perez continues to recover. We will share additional updates as we receive confirmed information and are able to do so.
"For now, we’re taking things one step at a time and keeping our focus where it belongs, on Perez and his recovery. Again, thank you, truly, for all your support and compassion. We are so grateful."
Hilton, who is a father to three children through surrogacy, had been alone in his home at the time of the incident.
Officers who'd attended the scene chose to "tactfully disengage" while continuing to "monitor the situation" before taking Hilton to hospital.
The Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Page Six that the individual had “been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,” adding that their “Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals” were “on scene providing support and resources to the individual’s family.”
Hilton’s representatives at Golden Artists Entertainment, Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan, told Page Six in a statement that they were “aware of the concerning content circulating online” involving Hilton.
They added: "At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him,” adding that their “primary concern” was the blogger's “health and well-being, as well as the well-being of his family.”
They added: "We are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from fans, friends and members of the media. We respectfully ask that everyone continue to honor his privacy while he receives the care he needs."

A popular Twitch streamer has provoked controversy online, after a video showing her breastfeeding her baby was removed by the platform.
Heather Kent, who goes by the handle HeatheredEffect, boasts nearly 90,000 subscribers on YouTube and almost 16,000 on Twitch. Her videos typically involve her chatting with a guest and discussing current issues.
However, in one recent video, where she decided to breastfeed her baby on camera, the footage was taken down after some viewers complained that it was a NSFW violation of the Twitch terms of service.

Outraged by the censorship, Heather took to Twitter to share her frustration with Twitch, and uploaded the footage in question to her Twitter account.
She captioned the video: "Today I streamed while breastfeeding on @Twitch. This clip (which had over 20k views and would’ve helped tremendously with the #normalizebreastfeeding movement) was deleted by Twitch with no explanation. We obviously have a long way to go in the fight to normalize breastfeeding."
She later added: "The fact that I even have to share this. SMH. Also, I’m NOT sorry if a breastfeeding woman makes you feel uncomfortable. If you’re triggered by a NIPPLE that’s FEEDING A BABY & try to equate it to anything else that’s inappropriate (porn) then you need to do some soul searching. [sic]"

In a later interview with video gaming website, Kotaku, Heather stated: "I thought that I would get some creepy comments because it’s Twitch. But I’ve honestly been shocked by the negative community reaction as a whole."
She continued: "It’s been a little shocking and a little demoralizing and kind of sad. It’s actually put me in a corner where I feel like I actually need to take a stand for this because clearly there’s a lot of minds that need to be changed or enlightened when it comes to breastfeeding."
Sadly, this isn't the first time that breastfeeding has provoked controversy online.
