Jeremy Renner has shared a new video with fans showing him regaining the use of his legs for the first time.

The Marvel star was left seriously injured back in January when he was reportedly trying to stop his snow plow from sliding and hitting his nephew, per a sheriff's report. The 53-year-old actor was said to have been pulled under the vehicle and crushed.

The incident occurred on New Year's Day, with the Hawkeye star attempting to clear snow from the area around his home in northern Nevada. It later emerged that Renner often uses his 14,330lb Pistenbully snowplow to help assist his neighbors in his local community.

"When Renner attempted to stop or divert the Pistenbully to avoid injury to (his nephew), he was pulled under the vehicle by the track and run over," the report stated, per CNN. "The Pistenbully rolled over him and continued down the road."

Soon after the scary incident, the star was left in a "stable but critical" condition, with the actor later revealing that he had broken more than 30 bones in his body.

"These 30-plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all," he wrote to his fans less than three weeks after the incident.

And it looks like the Renner is, indeed, growing stronger with each passing day.

Over the weekend, the Mayor of Kingstown star took to his Instagram Stories to share footage of him walking - the first time his 20 million followers had seen the star on his feet since the accident.

Per Metro, Renner could be seen walking on an anti-gravity treadmill - which helps the user by supporting a percentage of their body weight in order to aid their recovery.

In the clip, Renner could be seen speaking to an unnamed acquaintance and explained that he was using "40% of his weight" while putting one foot in front of the other.

The Avenger captioned the post: "I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will. #minduful #intended #recovery".

The amazing sight - which will come as a relief to many of the actor's fans - comes after Renner underwent two surgeries to help resolve his injuries. One surgery was on his chest, and the other involved Renner have metal pins placed around his legs.

Since being discharged from the hospital back in January, he has been "moving himself around" in a wheelchair.

Renner's remarkable recovery also came as quite a shock to Marvel co-star Evangeline Lily, who paid a visit to the star last month.

"I expected to sit at his bedside and hold his hand while he moaned and groaned in pain and wasn’t able to move," she told Access Hollywood (via Metro). However, she was delighted to see him out of bed, adding: "He was wheeling himself around, laughing with his friends. It’s a miracle, a straight-up miracle."

"He’s made of something really tough, that guy. You’ve always been able to see that in him. He is recovering incredibly, and I’m so grateful."

Renner has also focused on the importance of his mental recovery too, and has revealed that he has been reading The Book Of Awakening: Having The Life You Want By Being Present In The Life You Have by Mark Nepo.

We wish Renner all the best on his continued recovery.
