Social media users have praised a Hooters waitress after she shared the way in which she took revenge on creepy customers who were allegedly taking pictures of her without her permission.

Taking to TikTok, Hooters waitress Lydia Warren posted a video exposing a group of men who she claimed were discretely taking snaps of her while she was trying to work.

In the clip, she explained how two men specifically were taking pictures of her before switching the camera around to show their faces stating, "This guy wants to come into Hooters and just take pictures of girls without asking.

"Well, I'm going to make you uncomfortable too. We all uncomfortable now [sic]," she continued.

"Yeah, my flash on [sic]," she added. "We all uncomfortable now [sic]."

At first, you can see both men turn to each other and start whispering before turning back to the camera, one with a sheepish grin on his face while the other just continued to stare with a seemingly blank look on his face.

In the caption she doubled down on her stance writing: "Now everyone feels weird," before adding the hashtags: "Do Better" and "Public Shame."

The video, which has now been viewed over three million times, attracted a whole host of social media users who commended the waitress for her response.

"That's my girl," wrote one user while another added: "Why he scared now lol."

A third user emphasized that "the boys got your back on this too."

And the comments didn't stop there.

Another TikToker thought the use of the flash was clearly a nice touch.

Someone else who has seemingly experienced similar things wrote: "Girl yes! I worked there for 10 years! Expose them!"

However, others took to the comment section to antagonize the waitress with one person even suggesting that they "don't need permission to take pictures".

Another tried to spin the narrative that "maybe he just liked your outfit".

Of course, we're all well aware of the uniform that Hooters supplies workers with, though that is no excuse to invade someone's privacy by taking personal photos of them when they're just trying to do their job.

Thankfully those users were savagely shut down by other TikTokers.

The news comes after other Hooters waitresses have come forward with their experiences with rude customers.

Last year, TikToker @keylamxo, told her followers "Here’s one of the many times that a customer made me cry while I worked at Hooters" after a customer left an abusive message on a $600 bill.

Right from the get-go, the waitress was subjected to a bad attitude by the entire party that came along with the customer in question.

Not only were they messy, spraying ketchup all over the table and spilling their drinks, but when Keylamxo checked the bill, she saw that instead of leaving a tip on the considerable amount, she was left a message reading: "F*** You", along with a drawing of a middle finger.

It's simply unacceptable.

Here's my advice: If you don't know how to behave in public and treat people with basic human decency, don't go out.
