The search for the missing Michigan rappers has led police officers to three bodies inside an abandoned apartment complex.

As reported by The Detroit News, the investigation for three aspiring musicians ended after bodies believed to be theirs were found in an abandoned Highland Park apartment complex.

Nearly two weeks after Armani "Marley Whoop" Kelly, 38, Montoya Givens, 31, and Dante "B12" Wicker, 31, went missing on the night of their canceled performance at Lounge 31 on January 21, police believe that they have located their bodies.

Michigan state police said that the bodies were discovered under mounds of debris inside the basement, but did not confirm the identities of the remains, per the local outlet.

However, three Detroit police sources said they believed that the bodies were of the rappers, with Michigan State Police 1st Lt. Mike Shaw saying of the complex: "It's supposed to be abandoned, but there are a lot of squatters in there," per the publication.

Police also shared updates from the case on their social media after finding "multiple victims" in a building at the corner of McNichols and Log Cabin.

"Detectives are continuing to investigate this incident and more than likely will be there throughout the night," they wrote. "As of now, we haven't confirmed the identity of any victims inside or a manner of death."

Although law enforcement stressed that the victims have not yet been identified, Givens' mother Cat Fogle told The Detroit News that cops notified her of her son's death on Thursday (February 2) afternoon.

"They told me they found the three bodies," Fogel said to the outlet. "I don't know what I'm going to do; how I'm going to bury him."

Kelly - who was known as B12 - was scheduled to perform at a birthday party inside a Detroit lounge on the night they disappeared but the show was canceled. He reportedly told his fiancée that the performance was canceled due to technical issues.

He also told her that he planned to hang out with his two friends to find some open mic events and that's when he picked up Wicker and Givens in his car that evening.

According to the rapper's partner, she couldn't reach him sometime after 7:30PM after texting and calling his phone several times, as noted by the New York Post.

In addition to this, last week, police found a 15-year-old boy driving Kelly’s car - a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox - on the road without a license plate.

The teenager was taken into custody and told the cops that a man had advised him to pick up the car from a location on Detroit’s west side. The police looked through his text and calls with the man and saw that he had a warrant involving alleged fraud.

Authorities searched his home and took him in for questioning, according to the outlet. Furthermore, they also recovered surveillance footage of a man wearing gloves cleaning out the Equinox.
