Tucker Carlson recently made some bold statements about the president of Ukraine following the leader's appearance at the US Congress on Wednesday.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Joe Biden at the White House ahead of his tour of the States, marking his first foreign visit since Russia declared war on Ukraine back in February.
Dressed in his trademark war-time attire which consisted of his army green sweatshirt and cargo pants, the Ukrainian president delivered a speech that received a thunderous reception at Congress.
Speaking to prominent US politicians, Zelenskyy emphasized that his country would not be giving up any time soon while simultaneously expressing his gratitude to the American people for their overwhelming support during these difficult times.

"I hope my words of respect and gratitude resonate in each American heart," Zelensky said during the joint meeting of Congress, later adding: "Against all odds, and doom and gloom scenarios, Ukraine didn’t fall. Ukraine is alive and kicking."
At one point, he even elicited a few chuckles from the chamber, saying: "We have artillery, yes. Thank you. We have it. Is it enough? Honestly, not really."

Zelensky then went on to explain that American support "is crucial not just to stand in such [a] fight but to get to the turning point to win on the battlefield."
"The world is too interconnected and too interdependent to allow someone to stay aside and at the same time to feel safe when such a battle continues," he explained. "Our two nations are allies in this battle and next year will be a turning point, I know it – the point where Ukrainian courage and American resolve must guarantee the future of our common freedom, the freedom of people who stand for their values."
"Your money is not charity," his argument continued. "It’s an investment in the global security and democracy that we handle in the most responsible way" before calling on lawmakers to toughen their sanctions against Russia.

While it seems as though Zelensky won over the representatives present during his inspiring speech, there's one person who had some bold remarks to make about the world leader and his requests.
Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, a man known for his controversial views, seemed to be less than impressed with the Ukrainian president, slamming him for dressing in attire only suitable for a "strip club manager."

"The media, the Congress, the White House, they all love this weird little guy called Sam Bankman-Fried. Do you remember that?" Tucker said during the latest episode of his self-titled show.
"Somehow we were reminded of it today when the president of Ukraine arrived at the White House, dressed like the manager of a strip club and started to demand money.
"Amazingly, no one threw him out. Instead, they did whatever he wanted," he said.
The 53-year-old went on to suggest that Zelensky is in the US to demand a "regime change" in Russia.
"Zelensky is demanding regime change in Russia, just like in Iraq and Libya, and a long list of other failed states. Except this time, in the heart of the Eurasian landmass, next door to the entire civilised world," he said of the issue.
"That’s what Zelensky has called for repeatedly, and every dollar we send to him goes toward that end. At this point, he’s getting a lot closer to achieving it," the host added.
And his blazing onslaught didn't stop there as he later accused the 44-year-old president of taking US taxpayers’ money to put his plans into action.
"So the leader of a foreign government dressed in a sweatshirt waltzes into the United States Congress and starts demanding money. And then has the gall to tell the people sitting there, who are giving him tens of billions of dollars more of your money, that it is not charity, it’s an investment.
"Really, what are the returns on that?" he critisized.
