Florida mom accused of having sex with family dog shares social media update
A Florida mom accused of having sex with a family pet has changed her Facebook profile picture, prompting a string of supportive comments from followers, including one who described her as their "future wifey".
Malia Nummerdor, 38, received a flurry of reactions after updating her profile picture on Thursday, with several social media users complimenting her appearance and sending messages of encouragement as the investigation into the allegations continues.
Florida mom's social media update
Among the comments were "future wifey", "stunning just stunning", "always been fine message me back?" and "yo you look so beautiful girl". Another follower wrote: "Hey beautiful I’m glad to see you back out and about. Always remember KARMA is such a b****".
Nummerdor replied with a short message of her own, writing: "I love you!".
The update comes after the 38-year-old shared an encouraging message on Facebook two days earlier. It read: "Stop stressing girl. You have a good heart. A kind soul. The universe is on your side. You’re going to be fine."
Her social media activity has continued to attract attention, with a number of supporters publicly backing her since the allegations emerged. This includes an earlier exchange in which she thanked people for standing by her after reports claimed she was not allowed to see her two sons while the investigation was ongoing.
Messages of support continue despite controversy
Nummerdor, 38, was accused by her estranged husband, Erik Nummerdor, of animal abuse in a Facebook post.
Erik claimed he had installed hidden cameras in the couple's bedroom after becoming suspicious about money going missing from a coin jar. He alleged the footage showed his wife partially nude with the family dog, Ranger.
The claims have not been proven, and Nummerdor has denied any sexual contact with the animal. She reportedly acknowledged that footage involving the dog existed during an interview, but maintained that she had simply been petting it.
Erik, who has admitted to previously spending time in prison, later addressed the controversy in a video shared on Facebook. He claimed he had faced online abuse since making the allegations, saying some people would rather "see me hanged than tell the truth".
Nummerdor is currently out on bail and has reportedly been staying with friends. Sources have claimed the insurance agent is permitted to visit her home in Punta Gorda for evening meals because she has nowhere else to stay, although it is unclear why she cannot spend the night there. The dogs are reportedly still at the property.
Despite the controversy, messages of support have continued to appear on her Facebook page. One supporter, Andre Bernard, wrote: "Keep ya head up girl we here for u".
Nummerdor responded: "Only keep it down long enough to pray!!! Cannot thank my real ones enough".
Bernard then added: "That’s all we really need is some prayers so happy your out u ever need a sound mind to speak to I’m here known u for over 25 yrs plus u still a star in my book."
She replied: "THANK YOUUUUU!!!!! I will shine again".
Another supporter, Vianney Denisse Car, also sent her a message, writing: "Sending you love.. I’m here for you too!!!"
Nummerdor responded: "love you baby! Thank you soooo much from the bottom of my heart".
According to the Daily Star, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Nummerdor has been released on bail and was due to appear in court, despite denying all allegations against her.
