JD Vance put his own slant on a famous meme of himself in response to a tweet about how he got into Yale

The Vice President shared the famous bald picture of himself on X in response to a post attacking him.

Yes, the VPOTUS is sharing memes of himself online now - this is America, this is 2025.

JD Vance turns the tables on a popular meme

To be fair, it is good to see Vance taking the joke well and even finding a bit of space to mock himself.

In recent times, others in his administration - mentioning no names - have struggled to see the funny side on certain things.

Still, that hasn’t stopped Jimmy Kimmel from poking fun at the POTUS, even if it wasn’t all smiles for him either on his star-studded comeback

Now, Vance has responded to criticism online with a popular meme of himself, much to the delight of his supporters.

Vance was being criticized for how he got into university

The post, shared on X by an account called Chief Nerd, featured a video of political commentator and TV host Joy Reid, who was mocking Vance for getting into Yale.

The post quoted Reid as having said: “JD Vance got into Yale because they were tired of just letting in white men from New York … from all the elite schools.

“They wanted an Appalachian white.

“That's how that man got into Yale, I promise you … That's also affirmative action and DEI.”

Naturally, Vance had to respond.

However, he didn’t do that as you might expect.

Instead of hitting back in typical fashion, or using the tactics of his boss to simply deride his opponent or claim that they are failing, he shared the popular meme of himself staring down the camera with a bald head that has been artificially fattened up.

On the internet, it’s probably a better way to convince anyone of that side of the argument than any salient point.

His fans were out in force.

Fans of both sides were in the comments

One said: “He has seized the memes of production.”

Another wrote: “My favorite thing about our VP is the way he u-turns these memes”

A third simply said: “That's my VP”

However, not everyone saw it that way.

“Buddy we’re not laughing with you. We’re laughing at you,” said one person.

“S Tier vice president,” another called him.

Another comment implored Vance to ‘do your job’.

One thing is for certain - we haven’t seen the last of those JD Vance memes, and they might even be coming directly from the man himself.
