People are only just discovering the net worth of the ‘woman in the red dress’ behind Trump
Susan Dell's appearance at the White House has stayed in the headlines after she was seen standing behind the President.
Trump was announcing the launch of the Trump Accounts Investment programme, with Dell and her husband, CEO of Dell Technologies, pledging $6.25 billion to the Trump Accounts.
The President even joked about her running for a political position one day after she encouraged parents to open Trump Accounts, asking: "Good job, is she thinking about running for office? I'll endorse her; she has my complete and total endorsement."
Despite his seal of approval, Michael Dell quickly shut down those suggestions, while his wife is yet to address the comments.
After the couple's generous donation, attention quickly turned to how much they're really worth, despite initial focus on Susan's appearance.
How much are the Dells worth?
Michael Dell, the founder of multinational technology company Dell, spoke of their intention to give American children an advantage in investing in their futures with their donation.
Dell was launched in 1984 with an initial investment of just $1,000, with the couple's net worth growing to billions of dollars.
The couple own a $13.7 million residence in Austin, Texas, which includes a 20-acre lot, as per Hindustan Times.
Michael was just 19 when he invested in the company, and would go on to become the youngest CEO to feature on the Fortune 500 list.
He took Dell Technologies private prior to its merger with EMC and VMware in 2016, while today, Forbes reports that he is the 12th wealthiest American, with an eye-watering net worth of $140.5 billion.
On the other hand, Susan Dell is a fashion designer, successful athlete and an entrepreneur who launched three fashion brands.
It isn't known where her individual net worth sits at, but publications such as Forbes and Bloomberg often report joint spousal wealth when speaking of the primary wealth generator, which is Michael.
If you were to split his net worth down the middle, it'd mean that Susan Dell would be worth $72.25 billion.
So while she has been described as a 'robot clone' by those on social media, she likely couldn't care less.
What is ‘Mar-a-Lago face’?
It's been used extensively on social media recently, but why have people claimed that Susan has 'Mar-a-Lago face'?
According to Dr. Shervin Naderi, the American elite have always looked a certain way; for example, the 'pillow face' in the 2000s, which featured overfilled cheeks and swollen lips.
But in the 2020s, it's Mar-a-Lago Face, as the health professional explained: “The Mar-a-Lago Face represents a new era of American luxury aesthetics—engineered, refined, and designed to project control and affluence.”
Naderi said that it was 'a modern aristocratic mask' that was surgically sculpted to highlight their status and level of control in society.
"It’s not about reversing time. It’s about rewriting the rules of aging," he explained.
The procedures include lifting brows, sculpting cheekbones, tight jawlines, plump polished lips, and smooth skin.
