A young woman from Poland who has made international headlines following her claims that she is missing British toddler Madeleine McCann has stated that she's "happy she is getting the truth."
Julia Wandelt, 21, originally went viral on Instagram by posting comparisons between herself and Madeleine - who disappeared in 2007 while on holiday with her parents in Portugal.
The young woman has since caught the attention of the world's media, having recently undergone a DNA test to rule out whether she is in fact another missing girl.
Online detectives have suggested that Julia might in fact be Livia Schepp, a Swiss girl who disappeared at the age of six in 2011 along with her twin Alessia.
Earlier this month, Wandelt participated in an Instagram Live with Dr. Fia Johansson - a self-confessed medium who has been speaking on her behalf and who is also a private investigator. During the live, Julia claimed that her mother had been asking doctors to lie about Julia's medical history.
She had allegedly told the doctor that she wanted her daughter to be hospitalized, stating: "My daughter is in danger and I need to stop her, that's what I want you to tell me and I want you to help give me the wrong and false statement. Then I can ask the police to somehow help me, not arrest directly, but to actually hospitalize my daughter."
Around the time of the livestream, Julia ended up deleting her social media accounts after Polish police made a statement where they said that she was not Madeleine.
Now Julia is in California with Dr. Johansson following alleged death threats. The medium - who has assisted US police on missing persons cases previously - posted images of Julia to her own Instagram story, including one of the young woman getting into a car.
"Julia enjoying the sunlight. I'm so happy for this beautiful angel that finally found some peace," she wrote, adding: "Past seven days, she has been so anxious, so worried, and so lonely. At this moment, she is happy she is not alone, and she is getting the truth."

The doctor has previously explained that her "number one priority" with Julia is to keep her safe because she "has nobody" in Poland - including her family who shared a statement rebuking her claims.
"Julia has never said, 'I am Madeleine McCann'. She has lots of questions about her past and she asked for help. We are open to all possibilities," she said. "Having spent time with Julia and investigating this I do not think she is lying or making things up for followers, everything she says appears to be real."
