'New Nostradamus' shares five chilling predictions for 2026 - it comes with a major warning about Trump
Craig Hamilton-Parker, a psychic often referred to as the "new Nostradamus" and the "Prophet of Doom", has issued a series of unsettling predictions for 2026.
Known for his past prophecies on events like the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the Covid-19 pandemic, Hamilton-Parker claims to have insights into impending global crises, political turmoil, and possible environmental disasters.
He works alongside his wife, Jane, and other spiritual mediums, and draws on ancient spiritual texts, including the Nadi oracles from India, to foresee a turbulent year ahead.
A Third Term for Donald Trump
One of Hamilton-Parker's most alarming predictions involves the possibility of President Donald Trump securing a third term in office.
Hamilton-Parker warned that the forthcoming US election could be disrupted by global conflicts that challenge the country's constitutional processes.
"To reiterate what I said at the time, I felt there would be some big global conflict, possibly involving Taiwan," he said, per Express. "Looking at it now, it could be any global conflict. I know a lot of people have criticised this, saying you cannot have a third term because it is written in the Constitution-but who knows? Things have changed so much in the world."
He highlighted recent geopolitical developments as evidence of how unlikely scenarios can materialize.
"Who would have imagined the possibility of invading Greenland, or kidnapping a country's leader, as has happened in Venezuela? The world is changing rapidly," he stated.
The psychic also noted that, while many believe a third term for Trump is impossible due to the US Constitution, he envisioned a world in which exceptional circumstances might make such a scenario plausible.
“Something will occur that overturns the existing rules, and that period will be a time of great conflict,” he warned.
A Catastrophic Gas Cloud Over Japan
Another scary prophecy Hamilton-Parker made is the possibility of a gas cloud enveloping Japan in 2026, a vision he first documented in his 2015 book, Messages from the Universe.
According to his spiritual readings, the "new Nostradamus' was warned about a country being consumed by a gas cloud, and his most recent insights point to Japan, specifically in the northern part of the country, with an event expected around August 2026.
"The Nadi teachings stress that the future can be changed. Part of the reason I'm sharing this is to encourage people to send positive thoughts, prayers, and visualisations to help reduce the impact," he said.
Hamilton-Parker suggested that the event could be exacerbated intentionally, possibly through a bomb or volcanic activity, and raised concerns about the potential for a simultaneous cyberattack affecting global financial systems.
"Could something like a bomb be used to intensify a gas cloud or volcanic activity? That would suggest a clandestine form of attack," he said. "In 2026, there could be a major cyber event causing financial disruption affecting cryptocurrencies, industry, and even the AI market. Gold may rise and then fall. We need to be cautious."
Tensions in Iran
Hamilton-Parker's predictions also include a major escalation in the Middle East.
He believes there will be targeted military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in March 2026. This follows his earlier prophecies regarding attacks on the country’s nuclear infrastructure.
“We will see very targeted attacks - not just on the leadership, but also on the remaining nuclear facilities,” he explained. "Even if the country transitions to democracy, the question would remain whether Iran could still be a nuclear power. Revolutions do not always lead to the outcomes people hope for; sometimes worse regimes take control. I'm not saying that will happen here, but it is a risk."
He believes the rapid military operation will not involve boots on the ground but rather airstrikes and swift actions, with the potential to spill over into Yemen.
"Send positive thoughts that the Iranian people may finally be freed from tyranny, and that a new Iran can emerge - economically, socially, and with freedom and rights for women. That future will come, but first there are challenges ahead," he added.
Greenland's Future and a Major Economic Deal
Hamilton-Parker turned his attention to Greenland and discussed the growing speculation about the territory's future, particularly whether it could join the United States.
He believes the interest in Greenland is driven more by its vast natural resources than by military strategy.
"It's really about real estate - oil reserves and, most importantly, rare earth metals. Developing and processing these resources is difficult, which makes new sources extremely valuable," he stated.
Rather than military conquest, Hamilton-Parker forecasts that the US will pursue an economic agreement with the country, possibly involving large payments in exchange for access to these critical resources.
"This appears more like pressure and posturing that will culminate in a major economic arrangement. A deal will be struck, potentially involving very large payments connected to Greenland's resources," he said.
Hamilton-Parker also weighed in on the contentious Chagos Islands issue, suggesting that the UK’s decision to give away the islands would ultimately backfire.
“It was a crazy deal, and most people in the UK see it as madness to give away these islands,” he commented. "I don't think the deal will proceed - [Keir] Starmer's manoeuvre is a repeat of past reckless politics, and it will backfire."
Shifting Global Power Structures and NATO’s Decline
And the last prediction Hamilton-Parker shared is about the future of global power structures.
He suggested that NATO’s influence would begin to weaken, leading to the emergence of a new global policing organization by 2030.
“No single country wants the burden of policing the world,” he said. "The UN has always been toothless, intervening late. I feel a new organization will emerge, possibly from changes in NATO, the UN, and Trump's initiatives, to maintain peace through conflict management. This could be linked to potential conflicts involving the US and China, as the Nadi readings suggest."
He also predicted that China’s internal economic problems would lead to political unrest, which could dominate global attention in 2026.
But despite these dark predictions, Hamilton-Parker urged his audience to remain optimistic.
“We must focus on positive thoughts,” he said. “Ultimately, a more stable world will emerge after these turbulent times, but we are witnessing the last stages of the difficult age before a better one comes.”
