A bride has questioned whether she has the right to be angry after she discovered that her husband had a micropenis as he kept it hidden from her until after they were married.

Getting married is a big step in anyone's life, and although the ceremonies have become less traditional over the years, some still adhere to what was once deemed the correct way to do things.

It seems like one Redditor was convinced by her husband to not have sexual relations until they were married, and his motives soon became clear.

Taking to the popular Am I The A**hole (AITA) subreddit, a bride has revealed that she married her fiance after a year together, but he didn't wave to have sex until after marriage because he claimed to be "old fashioned like that".

She added: "We got close to fooling around a couple times but it never went far. I tried, but he always stopped after it went too far."

It was during their honeymoon when all was revealed, and it turned out that her husband had a micropenis and didn't share that information beforehand.

She asked: "Am I the a**hole for reading into this and being upset that I waited until my wedding night to find out that he probably isn't as 'old-fashioned' as he says he is?"

The Redditor went on: "I kind of feel lied to. Like a halftruth...or something was intentionally withheld from me. This was unexpected, to say the least."

Things took an even more sinister turn when her husband stumbled across the Reddit post, and threatened legal action as he believed people would eventually find out his name.

"I confronted him last week about intentionally keeping this from me and he said he was sure I would leave him if I knew about the size prior to the wedding," the post went on.

"He wanted to talk before the wedding but feared it being called off because of his micropenis and said if both families found out/gossiped about it he would be crushed."

The Redditor concluded by referring to her husband as a "sweet, sweet man" and that she wasn't going to walk away from him due to this.

People naturally wanted to offer their thoughts in the comments, as one person penned: "I’d be upset about the maneuvering this guy did, not his actual equipment size."

A second person said: "I would honestly leave him based on the outright lie. He's not old fashioned he manipulated you until you couldn't leave. And then gaslight and turns it on you when you reach out about it and he found out."

A third added: "He did deceive her, though. She was more than willing to test drive, yet he denied her the possibility because he knew she'd discover his little secret."

It's certainly a tough situation, and while nobody should be shamed for their body, honesty is usually the best policy.

A wedding celebration turned into a nightmare for a St. Louis couple when the groom was shot in the head by a masked assailant.

Dulce and Manuel Gonzalez, who have been together for over a decade and share two children, were celebrating their marriage on Friday night with 50 family members in the backyard of their St. Louis, Missouri home, according to KSDK.

The joyous occasion took a horrifying turn just before 1:00AM on Saturday. Two masked gunmen entered the party through a shared driveway fence, reported Fox 2 Now.

The intruders demanded money from the wedding guests, threatening them with guns and ordering them not to move.

Police said that while one gunman searched the guests' pockets, the other stood behind the 32-year-old groom and shot him in the head several times.

The gunmen fled the scene without taking any money or valuables from the guests.

"They took nothing, yet they took everything from us," said Yaribeth Pena, the bride's sister, speaking to Fox 2.

Manuel remains in critical condition at a local hospital.

The family witnessed a glimmer of hope when Manuel moved his hands. "He's fighting for his life," Pena said. "We are hoping he pulls through."

Pena described her sister as "distraught, she's depressed, she's heartbroken," while police continue to investigate the incident.

"They were saying my brother-in-law was going for his wallet, and maybe they thought he was going for a weapon," Pena suggested.

Expressing concerns for her family's safety in the Dutchtown neighborhood, Pena added: "I feel like we would have to move to feel comfortable."

She also urged the community to help identify the suspects, whom she believes are teenagers.

A GoFundMe page has since been set up to support the family, and has gained $13,785 from a $50,000 target at the time of writing.

The page reads: "This is for Dulce. On Friday 6/28, she was getting married with a small family ceremony at her home with their 2 small children.

"The family was robbed at gunpoint and her husband was shot in the head. He’s alive and in critical condition. We need prayers that he will come through this.

"In the meantime, the family will need help with expenses, including medical bills and the loss of his income. Any support that can be afforded to this sweet family will be greatly appreciated."

A groom has caused a dramatic rift between himself and his brother after kicking him and his family out of his child-free wedding.

Earlier this week, the groom in question, Redditor u/Road-Block30554, took to the site's "Am I The A**hole" forum to share his side of the story and to ask others whether they think he did his brother wrong by turning him, his wife and their four kids way from the ceremony.

He shared: "Ramsey married young and has 4 kids that he takes everywhere he and his wife go. They're always there at every family event. The kids are grade A, hyperactive to say the least."

The groom says he handed his brother the child-free wedding invite in person and noted that Ramsey didn't seem happy about his kids being excluded from the occasion - but did appear to accept the decision.

However, when the wedding came around, Ramsey and his wife didn't show up until shortly before the ceremony began. And when they did arrive, the groom says his best man notified him that all four of his kids were with him.

He immediately confronted his brother over the rule break and said he wanted him and his family to leave.

The newlywed explained: "He also called me a simp for agreeing to my wife's 'stupid' rule, saying, if that was him, and his wife even hinted he couldn't have the family's kids at their wedding he would've dropped her right there right then.

"It was humiliating and loud enough for the guests to notice. My in-laws did too. I told him to leave that's when my mom and aunt tried to convince me to let it go and let them stay but I refused and had him leave after a massive argument between us."

Since the wedding, the Reddit user admits that a number of people close to him have criticized his handling of the situation - especially his dad.

However, on Reddit, there was an entirely different consensus. An overwhelming majority of those who responded to the post felt that the groom was "not the a**hole", and reasoned that his brother should have respected his wishes.

One person wrote: "As a parent, I hate people like the brother so much. Makes the rest of us parents look like idiots. I didn’t even read it, and I will say NTA. Childfree is child-free FFS. Get a sitter. Damn. Quit pushing your kids down people’s throats."

Another said: "No kidding!! I mean, the bride and groom get to make the call about their wedding. Don't like it? Don't go. If it seems unreasonable to you, DON'T GO. If you care about the people, send a nice gift anyway."

However, a third commenter decided that pretty much everyone involved in the situation was in the wrong and sympathized with his brother's family who would presumably have been hurt after being barred entry into the ceremony.

The commenter said: "I'd say potentially every sucks here. Because the brother made a valid point. It sucks that the kids weren't invited to their uncle's wedding, especially if they were close to the uncle.

"That would be so hurtful for his brother's family. Depending on how young they were too - of course."
