Slash's stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight’s cause of death has been disclosed after she tragically died aged 25.

On July 22, the Guns N' Roses guitarist took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news of his stepdaughter's passing.

"Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024," the tribute post read.

The 59-year-old described Lucy-Bleu as “an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul," and asked for “privacy” and that “social media speculation be kept to a minimum” as he and his family “grieve and process this devastating loss".

Lucy-Bleu was born on December 6, 1998, to parents Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight.

Her mom first dated the rock and roll legend in 1989 before rekindling their relationship in 2015.

Slash considered Knight a stepsister to his sons London Emilio Hudson, 22, and Cash Anthony Hudson, 20, whom he shares with his ex-wife Perla Ferrar.

The Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Lucy-Bleu's manner of death was suicide, as reported by The New York Post.

The publication reported that the 25-year-old passed away from hydrogen sulfide toxicity, which is a toxic, volatile gas that can be toxic to humans.

“Ms. Knight was found unresponsive in a private residence on July 19 by law enforcement conducting a welfare check. Death was pronounced at 1500 hours,” the coroner’s office told the outlet.

“An examination was performed by a deputy medical examiner on July 22. The cause of death was certified on August 29.”

The autopsy results come a month after the 25-year-old posthumously shared a harrowing message on Instagram, three days after her death was announced by her beloved family.

The chilling post included a picture of the artist and had a heartbreaking message penned by Knight, which read: "Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry.

"Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart, and fear of being vulnerable," she continued. "May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace."

Meegan broke her silence by responding to her late daughter's cryptic post, saying: “MY BABY GIRL I LOVE YOU WITH EVERYTHING. I’M SO SORRY."

Our thoughts continue to be with Lucy-Bleu's loved ones at this time.
