If you've ever traveled by airplane before, you're sure to have
some negative stories about the experience. Perhaps you happened to be seated next to a screaming baby for 10 hours, or had to deal with someone propping up their bare feet on your armrest. Maybe you had a particularly terrible in-flight meal, or managed to start an argument with the drunk guy in the next row.
Or, if you were one of the unlucky folks on this particular flight, you might even have witnessed a woman dangling her underwear under the air vent for 20 minutes.
Yes, ladies and gentlereaders, it seems that there is no limit to the
weirdness that people exhibit while 39,000 feet in the air - and this pair of white bloomers just goes to prove it.
The incident was captured on video during a Ural Airlines flight from Antalya, Turkey, to the Russian capital of Moscow. According to other passengers on board, the unnamed woman didn't seem at all embarrassed about flashing her undies to the dozens of other people on board, and in fact kept them underneath the dryer for around 20 minutes.
One fellow flyer commented on the situation, saying, "Everybody was looking with interest and confusion, but everybody remained silent."
The video has since been shared to social media, with many viewers trying to work out exactly what had led to these circumstances unfolding - or why exactly everyone else was just sitting back like nothing was happening.
"Imagine the smell getting blown through the cabin!" said one person on Reddit.
"How the f**k is she not embarrassed?" wrote another.

However, some people have suggested that the underwear might have belonged to a child that was traveling with the woman, and could easily have gotten wet from a spilled drink or splashed water from the bathroom tap.
What's more, those worried about the underwear-contaminated air being circulated around the cabin need not have been concerned, as filtration systems on planes are actually a lot more sophisticated than is often thought. Contrary to popular belief, High-Efficiency Particle Filters (HEPA) filtration systems can actually ensure that the air inside the cabin is completely changed approximately 15 to 30 times an hour - or once every two to four minutes.
Still, that didn't stop many people from thinking that the woman was just being super trashy.
"This is the consequence of people actually taking to heart the advice of: 'Don’t worry about what people think of you. Just be yourself and the hell with opinions of others'," wrote another commenter. "It sounds good but damn, this what can happen."
Unfortunately, as the identity of the mysterious pant-dangler was not confirmed, it seems we'll never get to the bottom of the mystery.
However, all is not lost, because we've learned a very important lesson here today: do not flash your pants while trapped in a flying tin can full of people, because you
will be recorded, and you
will be publicly shamed on social media.
