Spice Girls reunion.
The Spice Girls: that five-piece girl band that every woman, girl, man and boy adored. I don't care who you are or where you are from - if you didn't think 2 Become 1 is an absolute tune, then you are an idiot. Luckily for me – and the majority of people across the word – a fully-formed (including
Posh spice) Spice Girls tour is now reportedly on the horizon.

There have been multiple rumours that the band was getting back together, however, the blood which previously appeared so strong, seemed to have soured after Mel C and Victoria banned the other girls from performing Spice Girls hits while on tour together. But, as the old saying goes, "time is the biggest healer" and appears that Victoria, Mel C, Mel B, Geri and Emma are now ready to reunite once more and give the world what it wants, but more importantly – what it needs.

It's believed that the comeback – which is reportedly scheduled for 2018 – has come about because Mel C (or Sporty Spice, as she is more commonly known), has been working on plans for a one-off TV special and compilation album over the last few months alongside the band's former manager. Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "The five of them have been locked in secret talks since the summer, and finally they are all on-board for a 2018 reunion."
"As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls."

"And getting Victoria to agree has been a coup for everyone involved, given she has always been the person holding back on a reunion,’ the source added.
While things all seem happy in the world of the Spice Girls right now, there have been numerous occasions where things have looked positive only to suddenly go pear-shaped. Just a few months ago, Geri, Emma and Mel B planned to go on tour together as a trio, but they had their way blocked by Mel C and Victoria who said that they couldn't play the group's hit singles without them also being there.

There are also a variety of other obstacles the group would have to contend with before being able to get in the studio and hit the road together. All of them are busy with their families and jobs and Mel B is also dealing with an ongoing divorce with her ex, Stephen Belafonte. Victoria has also been notoriously hard to convince, and given the rise of her fashion brand, as well as her public image to maintain, it would be interesting to see whether she would actually join in with the reunion.
Still, while there are a lot of things to iron out before we see the reunion confirmed, this is one of the biggest signs that we have had about the potential return of everyone's favourite girl band.
