Blake Lively's husband
Ryan Reynolds might hog the spotlight when it comes to the couple's social media outreach, but the actress has a fair amount of
jokes up her sleeve. In response to her husband cropping her out of a couple photo, she went one further and got the wrong Ryan in her birthday message to Reynolds - a savage reply that earned over 300,000 retweets and over one million likes.

So it's fair to say that the actress is popular, with fans desperate to see what she's got in store next. But what they weren't expecting was for her look to go the complete opposite direction, ending up far from her usual glamorous look for her new movie role.
Filming scenes for her upcoming role in The Rhythm Section, photographers first caught her in costume on set in Dublin, Ireland, back in November. She was wearing over-sized clothes and looking pretty worse-for-wear, which
her husband promptly mocked on Instagram, adding the hashtag "#nofilter":

However, she has now been seen again on the set of the very same film, looking completely different once again. On January 14 she was filming on New York's Upper West Side, looking decidedly more glamorous with red lipstick and a wig, wearing a long black winter coat, stockings, and a pair of Christian Louboutins.
In September, she spoke to Glamour about the idea of perfection:
"It's nonsense. It simplifies people. Not all men, but a subsection of men, have a desire to understand and control women. To do that, you have to paint them into this thing you can wrap your head around. But women are complex."
The movie she's starring in will also star Jude Law, and is directed by Reed Morano, who worked on a number of episodes of The Handmaid's Tale. Lively also shared another glimpse behind the scenes on her Instagram:

The Rhythm Section is a contemporary adaptation of the first of British thriller writer Mark Burnell's Stephanie Patrick series of four novels. The Hollywood Reporter released the plot synopsis for the movie, which reads:
"Patrick (Lively) is on a path of self-destruction after the death of her family in an airplane crash, a flight that she was meant to be on. After discovering that the crash was not an accident, her anger awakens a new sense of purpose and she rises to uncover the truth by adopting the identity of an assassin to track down those responsible. The new, and lethal, Stephanie Patrick is on a mission to fill the void between what she knows and what she is told."
Apparently, the studio hopes that the movie is successful enough to warrant further adaptations of the series, including the books Gemini, The Third Woman, and Chameleon. Whether this launches a franchise or not remains to be seen, but it definitely looks like she is undergoing a number of transformations throughout the story.
