Being an international celebrity comes with its downsides. Yes, you're ultra-rich, get free clothes and get to attend swanky VIP parties with plenty of delicious drinks and food, but you have no privacy. The likes of
Ed Sheeran,
Justin Bieber and
Beyoncé cannot go out with their friends or family without being hounded by the paparazzi and fans alike. Imagine, the moment you leave your door, you're pounced on by an army of 100 or so people, all wanting to take a bad image of you and create a story - it's my idea of hell.
Ed Sheeran knows all too well what this lifestyle is like. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter is arguably one of the most famous faces in world music and given his status in music, Ed is accustomed to mixing it with the mega-rich and famous.

Sheeran appeared on Entertainment Tonight and revealed the challenges that he faced in order to have Beyoncé duet with him on the new track, Perfect.
"I have an email address that I email... that actually changes every week" in order to have a chat with Beyoncé, he revealed. The singer continued: "So I emailed that and then we got on the phone, and it's been in the works since May. It's kind of like what I aspire to be, I think."

Despite the obstacles leading up to getting in contact with the 36-year-old diva, Sheeran managed to get through to her and persuaded her to collaborate. The "Thinking Out Loud" singer said that there were a few delays in the process of recording, with Beyoncé have to take time off in order to give birth to her twins Rumi and Sir in June.
"Obviously, she had twins and we finished it in September, so I've been holding onto it since then," he said.
However, despite recently giving birth, Beyoncé cruised through her vocals, with the singer laying it down in one take - "One take vocals" he said - and she even insisted on adding her input into the background instrumentals.
"The original version of Perfect was just an acoustic guitar and she rung me up and was like, 'I don’t know how you feel about this but I’ve taken all the instruments off it and it's just gonna be acoustic guitar.'"

"And I was like, "Ah that’s great because it used to be that!""
According to Ed, once that stars got into the studio together, it was smooth sailing.
"When we got in together, it wasn’t so much notes ... it was very much like a back-and-forth thing, like, 'What’d you think of this?' Or 'What do you think of this?'"
"And we were probably in the studio for four hours," Sheeran said. "She was just like, 'Right!' Went in, one take, came out, like, 'Yeah, that sounds alright!'"
In the interview, Sheeran also remarked that he would be more than happy to play at
Prince Harry and
Meghan Markle's wedding if he was asked to.
So, Beyoncé changes her email every week? I wonder if she uses completely random names like
[email protected] in order to prevent the press from finding her.
