A new episode of Netflix's viral hit docuseries Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness could be dropping next week.

Now, in case you're unfamiliar with the series, it follows the life of Joe Exotic, the owner of what he claimed to be one of the biggest cat zoos in America, and his battles with his rival big cat park owners.

News of the new episode was broken in a video by Jeff Lowe, one of the exotic wild animal owners featured in the series.

"So our friend @christie_dish listened to the podcast, @HoldingKourt and after last weeks episode decided to send us this!!!

"BREAKING NEWS FOLKS. There will be 1 more episode of #TigerKing on@Netflix"

In the video above, Jeff reveals that the new episode will be available on the streaming service next week and that he will be filming his segment for it tomorrow.

While this claim about the existence of an extra episode has yet to be confirmed by Netflix, they did share this clip of an interview with Joe Exotic from prison, suggesting that the Tiger King's story is far from over.

If this video is anything to go by, it suggests that a longer interview was conducted with the former big cat keeper that could be the basis for an extra episode of Tiger King.

But ultimately, this is simply a case of holding tight and waiting to see if the new episode materializes or not. One thing's for sure, it would certainly delight a lot of cool cats and kittens - just maybe not Carole Baskin!
