One of the great things about the body positivity movement is that it's taught people that being proud of the skin you're in has no expiry date.
This is something that 55-year-old Brooke Shields is proving over on Instagram, when she showed off her incredible physique in a series of swimsuit snaps taken by fellow model Helena Christensen.
In one of the pictures, the model dons a black, high-cut, one-piece swimsuit that shows off her toned legs.

Meanwhile, the next two pictures provide fans' with further glimpses of the swimsuit, which Shields shows off while posing with white flowers.
"A great friend and a dream collaborator," the actress captioned the pictures. "Thank you for believing in my vision and helping bring it to life."
The model credited 51-year-old Christensen's photography in the comments section.
"What a great day this was," Christensen said, alongside three red heart emojis.
Needless to say, fans were stunned by the pictures too and flooded the comments section with support.
One wrote: "Still have it or I should say Never lost it. Absolutely Gorgeous! [sic]"
A second added: "You've get more and more beautiful over time. You are a true icon to young girls and beginner actresses. We love you [sic]."
Meanwhile, a third wrote: "My goodness. Don't you ever age?!"
Alongside another swimsuit picture, this time a yellow one-piece, Shields also teased an upcoming collaboration with Christensen.

"Working on something special with my friend @helenachristensen," read the caption. "You are incredible. Stay tuned - exciting things to share soon."
Christensen herself also shared the sunning swimsuit pictures she took of Shields over the weekend too.

"Capturing a person's essence isn't always so simple. You wish to reach through the complex, sometimes guarded layers to find the vulnerable, raw, yearning truth in their heart and mind," the model captioned the pictures. "This beautiful woman is someone who has shown those qualities to my camera lens for years. I am grateful to have her, not only as an inspiring photography subject but also as a caring, smart, witty, honest friend."
Teasing the collaboration, Christensen added: "And I'm excited to be a part of a personal project she's been working hard on for a while now."
As per Sky News, Shields took the opportunity to respond in the comments section, writing: "I trust you, I respect you, I'm here for you, and I appreciate you. I thank you for your eye, your character and your belief."
