Britney Spears' concerned fans think her dogs need to be rescued after the star posted a video dancing with what appeared to be knives, with the tiny canines watching close by.
The 41-year-old 'Toxic' singer sparked backlash in her comments section after she shared the clip (on September 25) of her with a "knife" in each hand while three dogs came into view.
"I started playing in the kitchen with knives today," Spears initially wrote in the caption.

However, the Grammy winner later edited her caption to let her followers know: "Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon."
That didn't put to rest the concerns of Spears' fans though.
One fan penned: "Great. As if I wasn't already concerned enough about Britney Spears' mental health; now I have to worry about her physical safety and her dogs, too??"
Another wrote: "Those poor dogs just ran scared they need to be rescued and she needs HELP. This is a cry for help she is not OK and is really going to HURT SOMEONE"
A third urged: "Someone please save this puppies [sic]!!"
A fourth said: "I'm now concerned about her having dogs let alone any animals after this video."
And the comments just kept pouring in, with yet another follower writing: "The knives made a clanking noises [sic]. They're clearly real. Real enough to fall on and kill one of those poor worried pups."
A final person said: "Someone please save this puppies... I actually felt sorry for her but seeing this last post omg! whether they are real or not... just keeps fueling the fire! Desperate is an understatement."
This comes amid her divorce proceedings with model Sam Asghari, who cited "irreconcilable differences" in his August 16 filing. The separation date is listed as July 28, and Asghari is seeking spousal support and attorney's fees.
Spears has been receiving a great deal of media attention in the last few years, especially during her conservatorship, which spanned over a decade.
The 'Toxic' singer married Asghari in a star-studded ceremony in June 2022, marked as a significant chapter in her emancipated life, post-conservatorship. Their relationship began on the set of the music video for 'Slumber Party' in 2016, evolving into a committed relationship and ultimately leading to their wedding. Spears fought hard to end the conservatorship to marry the 29-year-old model.
This video controversy isn't the first incident prompting police intervention. In January, Spears criticized fans for violating her privacy through prank calls leading to police presence at her residence. She expressed her distress about her portrayal in the media and the intrusion into her private life.
