Kai Trump has found herself at the center of another social media debate after proudly showing off her latest outfit.
The 19-year-old golfer and granddaughter of President Donald Trump took to her TikTok page to share a video of herself modeling a casual look.
In the clip, she wore a fitted charcoal-gray tank top paired with a dark denim skirt and a black belt with a gold buckle.
She completed the look with a necklace, bracelets, a smartwatch, and white sneakers, while styling her long hair in loose waves.
The video was captioned: "Been on my fashion grind."
But commenters were quick to poke fun at her look, arguing the outfit looked more everyday than runway-ready.
"Fashion grind, where lol?" one person wrote. "That's a regular outfit," another added.
A third simply commented: "All that money… and this is it." Meanwhile, a fourth questioned: "A skirt and a tank top?"
The post came shortly after Kai accompanied her grandfather to Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Earlier this month, Kai joined Trump at Madison Square Garden, where the president became the first sitting US president to attend an NBA Finals game.
Before tip-off, the pair appeared together on the arena's jumbotron during the national anthem.
As the 80-year-old was shown on screen, loud boos could be heard from sections of the crowd.
Despite the reaction, he continued saluting and appeared unfazed.
Afterward, the teen shared a video from the event on social media alongside the caption: "Thank you to 15SOF for capturing this special moment with my Grandpa."
The post quickly attracted criticism from viewers who claimed the audio had been altered.
"Changing the audio is wild though," one person wrote. "That's embarrassing changing the audio," another added.
A third commented: "It's sad in a way that she had to change the audio from booing to cheers, my God are all the trumps fibbers."
A fourth wrote: "Why isn't the National Anthem playing in this clip? When I watched this clip LIVE, the anthem was playing and the boos were loud and clear. This is NOT an authentic clip."
The latest backlash comes after Kai was granted a court-ordered restraining order against an alleged stalker.
According to court documents, the golfer sought protection from 26-year-old Gabriel Garza Jr., whom she accused of repeatedly trying to contact and approach her before her planned move to college, The Mirror reported.
A judge first issued a temporary restraining order before extending it through May 2027 following a court hearing.
Under the order, Garza must remain at least 500 feet away from Kai's home, workplace, and any events she attends.
He is also ordered to surrender any firearms and barred from going near the University of Miami, where Kai plans to enroll this fall.
In court filings, the teen described Garza as "homeless" and claimed he "lives in a car in area of Jupiter/Palm Beach County".

Kai Trump found herself in the spotlight after attending Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden with her grandfather, Donald Trump.
While the pair's appearance attracted widespread attention, much of the online discussion later focused on the controversial comments made by YouTuber Sneako.
Trump and his granddaughter attended the game as guests of Knicks owner James Dolan. The president's appearance drew a mixed reaction from the crowd, with some fans loudly booing him, while others claimed on social media that he appeared to have "dozed off" during the game, which saw the Knicks' 13-game playoff winning streak come to an end.
One of the personalities commenting on their attendance was streamer Sneako, whose real name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy. The 27-year-old internet figure, known for his controversial views and association with the "manosphere," discussed the game on a KICK livestream titled, "TRUTH ABOUT KNICKS GAME AND TRUMP NYC."
During the stream, Sneako began by asking viewers: "How old is Kai Trump again? How old is she? Can someone say it quickly before I continue talking?" After searching online himself, he discovered that Kai is 19 years old.
He then pulled up a TikTok video of Kai lip-syncing to Santana's "Maria Maria" and addressed her directly, saying: "You in the city? What's going on? What's good?" He followed it with a comment that immediately sparked criticism: "I feel like Donald right now, perhaps I'd be dating her if she weren't my daughter."
The comment prompted backlash from viewers watching the stream, with many warning him not to comment further. The criticism quickly spread to social media, too.
One user wrote on X: "Wtf is wrong with Sneako." Another commented: "Sneako is 27 but still weird."
The controversy comes as Kai has recently spoken publicly about the challenges of dating while being the granddaughter of a sitting U.S. president. Appearing on the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul and Mike Majlak, the 19-year-old explained that Secret Service agents accompany her wherever she goes.
"To be honest with you, it's really awkward going on a date and they're like two tables behind you," she said.
Despite the constant security presence, Kai said she has learned to adapt to the unusual circumstances.
"I've had to learn, in the last year, 'yes they're following me' but also focus and pretend like they're not there," she explained.
Donald Trump's granddaughter, Kai, has come under fire after sharing a response to the crowd reaction her grandfather received during the NBA Finals.
The 79-year-old made history on Monday (June 8) as the first sitting US president to attend an NBA Finals game, watching the New York Knicks fall 115-111 to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 at Madison Square Garden.
Trump attended the game with his 19-year-old granddaughter. Before tip-off, the pair were shown on the arena's jumbotron during the national anthem.
As the president appeared on screen, loud boos echoed around the packed venue. However, Trump appeared unfazed by the reaction, smiling and continuing to salute throughout the anthem.
After the president returned to the White House on Tuesday (June 9), the 19-year-old golfer posted a video of the pair standing together during the national anthem.
"Thank you to 15SOF for capturing this special moment with my Grandpa," she wrote.
Viewers quickly accused the teen of altering the footage, pointing out that the loud boos heard during the live broadcast appeared to have been replaced with cheering in the version uploaded to social media.
One user said: "Changing the audio is wild though," while another chimed in: "That’s embarrassing changing the audio."
A third slammed: "It's sad in a way that she had to change the audio from booing to cheers, my God are all the trumps fibbers."
A fourth added: "Why isn’t the National Anthem playing in this clip? When I watched this clip LIVE, the anthem was playing and the boos were loud and clear. This is NOT an authentic clip."
The NBA game was Trump's 17th visit to a sporting event since returning to office, having previously attended the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500, and the men's US Open final.
The president watched the game from Knicks owner Jim Dolan's suite alongside several members of his administration, including Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin.
According to Variety, this isn't the first time the president has faced a hostile reception at a major sporting event.
When he attended the men's US Open final in Queens in 2025, spectators could be heard booing as he appeared on screen during the ABC broadcast.
Associated Press reported that Trump responded with a smirk after hearing the crowd's reaction, a gesture that briefly caused the boos to grow even louder.
Kai Trump has broken her silence after a rocky start to her LPGA Tour debut, where she landed in dead last place.
The 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump was handed a sponsor's exemption to play in The Annika, a $3.2 million LPGA tournament held at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
Despite fierce backlash over her inclusion, the amateur golfer faced the spotlight head-on and admitted nerves got the better of her.
“I was definitely more nervous than I expected, but I thought I hit a lot of great shots out there,” she told reporters, per The Telegraph. “I hit a lot of good shots just to the wrong spots. And obviously, being my first LPGA event, now I kind of know how it goes.”
Her score included nine bogeys, two double bogeys, and seven pars. At one point, she was spotted trying to escape a tunnel beneath a grandstand, and at another, she topped a drive, but rebounded with a four-foot par save.
“The whole time I was nervous without a doubt,” she added. “I thought I did pretty good for just first time, being the youngest player in the field. I had a great time out there.”

Kai's sponsor invitation immediately sparked controversy. Ranked No. 461 among junior golfers, she entered one of the LPGA’s most high-profile tournaments with little competitive experience. Her previous biggest event saw her finish 52-over across four rounds.
Critics slammed the decision, claiming more deserving players were snubbed. But the LPGA and Pelican Golf Club stood by the move, pointing to Kai’s massive online presence, more than six million followers on social media, and her potential to draw younger audiences to the game.
“Love it or hate it, it's getting people to talk about the event,” said Pelican’s COO Justin Sheehan.
LPGA Chief Operations Officer Ricki Lasky also defended the pick: “Sponsor invitations are an important way to spotlight emerging talent and bring new attention to our tournaments and the LPGA.
“Kai’s broad following and reach are helping introduce golf to new audiences – especially among younger fans. We’re excited to see her take this next step in her journey."
Despite her lowly ranking, Kai’s group drew the biggest crowds on the course, thanks in part to a heavy Secret Service presence.

Kai's golfing roots run deep. She’s the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, and has won the 2022 and 2024 Ladies’ Club Championships at Trump International in West Palm Beach.
She’s played in PGA Tour Pro-Ams and was even seen at the Ryder Cup last fall, posting blogs that racked up millions of views.
And it doesn’t stop there - her mother is currently dating Tiger Woods. The 15-time major winner gave Kai advice ahead of her LPGA debut.
“He told me to go out there, have fun, go with the flow,” she said. “He is the best golfer in the entire world, but I would say that! And he’s an even better person.”
As for her grandfather, the President wasn’t at the tournament. “He’s running the world right now, so a little busy,” Kai joked, but also gave her words of encouragement: “Grandpa pretty much told me to go out there and have fun. Just don’t get nervous.”

Annika Sörenstam, the tournament’s namesake and one of the sport’s most legendary figures, had a simple message: “Give this girl a chance.”
She continued: “To be 18 and hear all the comments, she must be super tough. I’m sure we can all relate what it’s like to get criticism here and there, but she gets it a thousand times.
"So that’s why I just want to give her a break, come out here and have fun. We want her to feel like family here and to feel welcome."
The 18-year-old has committed to Miami University’s golf program and is training full time in hopes of climbing the ranks.
Kai Trump, the 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump, surprised both fans and podcast listeners with her unexpected political stance.
During an appearance on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast, the 30-year-old host asked Trump about her thoughts on politics and her grandfather’s 2024 presidential campaign.
The teen, who is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, made it clear that she does not want to be involved in the political scene.
"To be honest with you, I stay out of politics completely," she explained. "I’d never run... I don’t want anything to do with politics because I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing."
She elaborated on the divisive nature of politics in today’s climate, stating that extreme views on both sides are damaging to society.
"There’s radical left, radical right, there’s a lot of people who get too extreme," she said. "I think if both sides had met in the middle everyone would be so much more happier."
Kai added that social media amplifies these extremes by curating content to one side, which she believes contributes to the growing polarization.
"Social media makes your feed either be one way or another," she noted. "There's not a lot of things on social media where you’re very much in the middle. I think that kind of makes some people crazy and some people buy into it too much."
Despite her neutral stance, Kai clarified that her support for her grandfather remains strong. "Obviously, I’m going to support my grandpa, my family member," she added.
Kai’s comments were met with praise from listeners, many of whom appreciated her thoughtful approach.
One social media user remarked: "Kai Trump comes across as thoughtful and mature here, smart move staying neutral on politics at her age."
Another commented: "Kai is very smart staying out of politics. Enjoy your Senior year Kai!" while a third added: "She’s clearly the most intelligent one in the family. She has a bright future ahead."
While discussing her personal life, Kai opened up about the challenges of living as a teenager under the watchful eye of Secret Service agents.
The golf star and influencer shared that adjusting to the constant presence of federal agents has been difficult.
"It’s tough. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t tough," she admitted. "It was a big adjustment having them come in, and then having to adjust my schedule and just kind of go about my day.
"It’s weird when you’re just like hanging out with your friends, a group of girls, and you have like a tall guy standing like three feet behind you. It’s weird," she added.
