Keanu Reeves has revealed the eclectic list of celebrities he's ever dared to ask for an autograph.
Now, it may seem like The Matrix Resurrections star is everybody's favorite celebrity, but it turns out there are a few famous faces out there that he admires himself.
During his recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, 57-year-old Reeves found himself participating in a fun game of "The Colbert Questionert" - which involved the host asking 15 get-to-know-you questions. One of the questions Colbert asked the Speed actor was about which celebrities he's ever asked for an autograph.
The first is 'Perfect Day' singer Lou Reed. However, on this occasion, the autograph wasn't even for him, as Reeves explained: it was for a friend, and [Lou] was cool about it," he recalled of the late Velvet Underground rocker. "It was [on] a little piece of paper, and it was [in] blue ink.
"Yeah, it was good. It just said, 'Lou Reed.'"
So, who is the second? That would be none other than the late American stand-up comedian George Carlin. Reeves had the opportunity to work with Carlin in the 1989 cult comedy classic, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.
"I'm so jealous. I'm such a fan," Colbert replied enthusiastically. "And that was for you?"
"Yeah, he gave me an autograph," said Reeves. "He wrote... what did he write? He wrote, uh, I think it was, 'Dear Keanu, f*** you!'"
And while Reeves admits he "always thought he just wrote that for [him]," he then revealed: "Then I met someone else who said that he wrote the same thing to them! Anyway, beautiful."
Other questions in the segment revealed that Reeves does prefer dogs to cats (although, felines are growing on him), he prefers the window seat in a plane to the aisle, and that he thinks spiders are the scariest animal.
