Boy, was there some drama on Sunday's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians! But, if you were expecting said drama to have occurred between the five sisters (who are notorious for losing their temper at the best of times), you're totally wrong.

This time it was the actions of Kim K's rapper husband (maybe you've heard of him?) which led to a whole lot of tension on the show.

Basically, Kanye sent Kris Jenner's boyfriend Corey Gamble some pretty blunt text messages declaring that the family knew nothing about him, and questioned Corey as to why they've never met any of his family.

Kim read out the messages, saying "Kanye texts Corey something along the lines of, 'Look, we don’t know you. We’ve never met any of your family members.' Of course we’ve all felt that way and thought that, but for Kanye to just so bluntly say that to him - I feel like that was the wrong choice to make at that time."

So here's the deal with Kris and Corey: they've been together since 2014, and while their relationship as been comparatively private, Kanye's message was still pretty abrupt.

Needless to say, Kris wasn't too happy when she found out about the messages and accused the 41-year-old rapper of bringing "bad energy" into their home.

"I just wish I knew why [Kanye] has to bring bad energy into the field at 6:00 in the morning. I would never disrespect somebody and say that," she said.

And to Kris' total dismay, Khloé admitted that she agreed with Kanye about Corey keeping pretty much everything under wraps, adding that he hasn't been very "receptive" in getting to know them.

Never one to be messed with, the 63-year-old told Kim and Khloé in no uncertain terms to stop "talking s**t" about Corey to Kanye, referring to his behaviour as "rude" before adding, "I would never disrespect someone like that."

And, as it turns out, in fact, Corey has a totally innocent (and actually pretty sad) explanation for not being so forthcoming about his background.

"My best friend slash the lady who raised me died in November," he explained. "I don’t really bring people around y’all. I keep everybody separate."

Ultimately, Kim and Khloé managed to patch things up with Corey, explaining that they are very protective of their mom due to unfortunate past encounters. The pair apologised to him and everything seemed to be back to normal - for now at least.
