Mandy Moore and husband Taylor Goldsmith welcome their second child

Congratulations are in order as Mandy Moore is now a mom of two!

Moore and her husband Taylor Goldsmith welcomed their second baby boy together, the This Is Us actress and 'Kansas City' singer announced in a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday.

In a series of three black and white images, that the couple jointly on the photo-sharing app, Moore and her musician husband are seen cradling their newborn - a baby boy named Ozzie.

They captioned the shots alongside four pink heart emojis: "Ozzie is here! Oscar Bennett Goldsmith arrived a little late but with much aplomb (and an easier/speedier delivery than his big brother, much to the delight of his parents).

"Every adage is true: our hearts have doubled in size and the immediacy of the love is astounding. He is beyond words and we are so grateful for our family of four!"

A number of celebs and high-profile people in show business have since taken to the comments to congratulate the couple.

Will and Grace star Debra Messing wrote: "Oh Mandy! Congratulations!! Another beautiful miracle! I’m so happy for all of you."

Moore and Goldsmith are also parents to one-year-old son August Harrison, known as Gus for short, whom they welcomed in February 2021.

Recently, Moore posted a snap of her cuddling her eldest son as she and Goldsmith prepared to welcome their second child.

She said that the little one probably noticed the “change in the air” and that he would be “the best big brother ever.”

The singer wrote: "As we play the patient waiting game, I’ll take all the snuggles with the sweetest guy I know. He’s still too young to understand the concept of baby brother but intuitively I think he knows there’s change in the air and he’s going to be the best big brother ever. #thisisgus"

Moore and Goldsmith tied the knot in November 2018. The year after, Moore celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a sweet tribute to her husband on Instagram.

“You continue to set the bar high for the rest of the world (as a partner, brother, son, bandmate, friend, etc.) and I am the luckiest for knowing, loving and being loved by you,” she wrote at the time.
