Pamela Anderson has revealed the one thing she would "never do" at the Playboy Mansion.
The 59-year-old actress rose to fame after appearing in the iconic magazine and went on to become the person with the most Playboy cover appearances in history.
Although Anderson was a regular guest at Hugh Hefner's famous Los Angeles mansion, she says she always trusted her instincts and drew a firm line when it came to spending time there.
During a previous appearance on The Howard Stern Show, the Baywatch star recalled that she established firm boundaries from the very beginning.
"You know, my first day at the Playboy Mansion I was in my acid wash jeans. You know and some rock T-shirt with my sneakers on with the little balls on the socks," she said.
"And they were like 'you know, you can come to the Playboy Mansion closet and get dressed the next time you come out', and I thought 'what kind of clothes would be in the Playboy Mansion closet?'"
When Stern suggested the women at the mansion often seemed to be moulded into the same person, Anderson admitted photographer David LaChapelle had noticed the same thing.
"David LaChapelle used to say going to the Playboy Mansion was like the twilight zone. Like, he thought he saw 100 of me from the back, and then they would turn around and not be me," she remarked.
Although many women lived at the mansion, the Naked Gun star said she made the decision never to stay there overnight.
"I wouldn't stay there," she explained. "I was nervous. This is my spidey sense. I always thought, even when I came here, the first thing they said was 'you'll stay at the Playboy Mansion.'
"I said 'no, I'll stay at a hotel.' And then I stayed at the hotel and they would call me and say 'Pamela, we want you to come for fight night,' and I'd say 'I'm not fighting anybody.'
"They're like 'oh, no - you're just coming to watch Mike Tyson fight on the big screen,' but I thought they wanted me to jello-wrestle or something, and they said 'you don't have to mud wrestle, you're fine,'" she added.
The model has also previously opened up about another experience at the mansion that changed how she viewed her relationship with Playboy.
During a 2018 appearance on Life Stories with Piers Morgan, she recalled following a group of women upstairs after becoming curious about what was happening.
"I followed some girls upstairs," she said. "I thought, 'What could be going on up here?'"
She then witnessed what she described as "seven girls, one at a time with Hef".
"I was standing at the end of the bed watching them and then I realized they were watching me," she said.
The experience prompted an immediate realization: "I thought, 'This is not a movie. I need to leave.'"
Despite those experiences, Anderson has consistently said she shared a close friendship with Hefner, and there has never been any indication that the pair had a romantic relationship.
Following his death in 2017 at the age of 91, the Barb Wire star paid tribute to him in a heartfelt Instagram post.
"Everything anyone loves about me is because you understood me, accepted me, and encouraged me to be myself," she wrote, via PEOPLE.
She also credited him with helping make the world "a freer and sexier place," remembering him as "a gentleman; charming, elegant, chivalrous, and so much fun".

Pamela Anderson has shared a rare, candid insight into the moment she realized she had to walk away from the Playboy Mansion, the place that had helped launch her into stardom but eventually left her questioning her place within it.
Anderson, best known for her breakout role on Baywatch, became a cultural icon in the 1990s through her extensive association with Playboy magazine.
She appeared on more covers than any other model in the publication’s history and was named Playmate of the Month in February 1990. Over the years, she became one of the magazine’s most recognizable and enduring figures, often seen at events held at the lavish Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles.

Pamela Anderson has shared a wild story about how she allegedly witnessed Jack Nicholson having a threesome at the Playboy Mansion.
The 55-year-old Baywatch alum - who recently claimed Sylvester Stallone offered her a Porsche to date him - is gearing up for the release of her tell-all memoir titled: Love, Pamela.
In an excerpt from her forthcoming book obtained by Variety, the former Playboy model recalled a visit to magazine founder Hugh Hefner's infamous mansion, in which she bumped into the now-85-year-old Hollywood icon.
According to the outlet, Anderson revealed that she allegedly walked into the restroom where The Shining actor was "having a threesome" with two other playboy models.
"Mr. Nicholson had two beautiful women with him," Anderson wrote, per the outlet. "They were all giggling and kissing up against the wall, sliding all over each other. I walked by to use the mirror, bending over the sink to fix my lip gloss."
"Trying not to look, but I couldn't help myself and caught his eye in the reflection," the excerpt reads. "I guess that got him to the finish line, because he made a funny noise, smiled, and said, 'Thanks, dear.'"
The Barb Wire actress was a frequent model for the magazine while she soared to fame in the late 1980s and early '90s. Her 11 appearances on the cover are record-breaking in the famous publication's 60-year history.
Anderson continues to revisit the night in question during her candid interview, the model shared that it was "just complete freedom" about the Playboy Mansion.
"It was full of artists, philanthropists, intellectuals, chivalry, beautiful women. It was really an experience," she added.
Anderson also told the outlet that she first met her ex-husband Jon Peters - who she wed for 12 days - at the mansion one day after she first arrived in the United States after moving from Canada.
Although the former couple was only married for a short amount of time back in 2020, both of their parties told the publication that Peters "never made a move" on her during the start of her career.
The glamour model also contended that while she was never legally married to the 77-year-old film producer, they are still friends today.
Previously, Anderson claimed in her book that Tim Allen flashed to her on the first day of shooting Home Improvement in April 1991, saying that she "laughed uncomfortably" due to the bizarre incident.
While the now-69-year-old Toy Story actor strongly denied her claim in a statement shared with Variety, a clip of him flashing to co-star Patricia Richardson on the same exact set went viral on social media, following the actress' accusation.
Anderson's new memoir, Love, Pamela, and her Netflix documentary, Pamela: a Love Story, will both be out on January 31.

Pamela Anderson has recently reflected on the hype around her going make-up free at Paris Fashion Week, stating that she didn't think anyone would really notice.
The former Playboy model made headlines back in September after appearing at Isabel Marant Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 during the coveted fashion event with a bare face.
Anderson wore a striking yellow shift dress for the fashion event, but chose to keep her long blonde hair loose and not wear any make-up as she attended the shows.
Speaking to People in a new interview, the 56-year-old said that she didn't expect the moment to garner as much attention as it did, but she was glad it became a "positive message."
"I'm makeup-free at home, so why not for Paris Fashion Week?", she told the outlet. "I really didn't know anyone would notice it, but I'm glad it became a positive message."
Anderson also stated proudly that she's not too deterred by this idea of "aging" and instead she sees it as a natural process of life.
"I call if Life-ing, not aging," she said. "Chasing youth is futile. All we can do is embrace who we are at the moment we are in, and be okay with where our feet stand right now."
The star previously candidly opened up to Vogue France about the inspiration behind the look, stating that she hadn't originally planned to go make-up-free; she just had a change of heart when the time came.
"I didn’t come to Paris Fashion Week and think: 'I’m not going to wear any makeup,'" she said in a video for the outlet. "I don’t know, something just kind of came over me. And I was just dressing in these beautiful clothes, and I thought: 'I don’t want to compete with the clothes.' I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room.
"I feel like it’s just a freedom," the Baywatch alum continued. "It’s like a relief."
She also added that she doesn't have "a glam team" saying: "I’m just kind of doing this freestyle."
During the video, she was also getting ready for the Vivienne Westwood show during Fashion Week and gave fans a look into her routine to make her feel her best before stepping out in front of the cameras.
"I let my hair dry naturally, and I just put on some moisturizer because I am not into the makeup look right now," she said, before recalling how her mother once told her that "at some point" in life, she’s not going to want to "wear makeup on [her] skin."
And I guess mother always knows best because Anderson noted that she may have reached that point in her life.
"If we all chase youth or we’re chasing our idea of what beauty is in fashion magazines and everything, we’re only going to be disappointed and maybe a little bit sad," she said.
After making headlines with her bold decision, Anderson was praised by other notable stars such as Jamie Lee Curtis and Scarlett Johansson, both of whom lauded the Baywatch actress for her incredible ability to go against expectations.

Pamela Anderson has revealed that the late Hugh Hefner was the only man who treated her with respect, in a recent interview.
Anderson, 55, has been on the promotional trail for her latest projects - a memoir that focuses on her life, as well as a documentary. The documentary is described as "an intimate and humanizing portrait of one of the world's most famous blonde bombshells," and will follow "the trajectory of Pamela Anderson's life and career from small-town girl to international sex symbol, actress, activist, and doting mother."
It's expected that the former Baywatch actress will touch upon her notorious marriage to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee - the tumultuous relationship which was the subject of last year's miniseries, Pam and Tommy, starring Sebastian Stan and Lily James. That series centered on Anderson and Lee's sex tape leak, and how it affected their lives and careers soon after.
While Anderson was married four more times following her 1998 divorce from Lee, she's now revealed that the only man who ever treated her with respect was Hefner, the late founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy.
Speaking to The Times newspaper, Anderson - who appeared on the cover of the men's magazine a total of 14 times - first stated that she'd originally wanted to be a librarian growing up, "but I just went in a different direction."
Having been open about experiencing sexual abuse as an adolescent, Anderson said that the opportunity to leave home for the Playboy Mansion came from being shy. "I was painfully shy and I hated that feeling," she said, "that's why I did it. I just didn't want that feeling anymore."
The experience of posing for Playboy made her feel liberated, with the mom-of-two saying: "Doing that first photoshoot gave me this little kind of portal on what it felt like to be a sensual woman. My sexuality was mine. I took my power back."
After delving into her traumatic marriages, Anderson was asked whether anyone had ever treated her with "complete and utter respect," to which she replied: "Hugh Hefner."
This may have come as a shock to many people, given that Hefner - who passed away in 2017 aged 91 - has been accused of exploiting women at the Playboy Mansion.
His former girlfriend Bridget Marquardt even stated on her podcast in August 2022 that she has tried to "block out" memories of having group sex with Hefner, and that she usually wanted the experience to be over "as quickly as possible."
Marquardt even hit out at Hefner's 'Pig Night', where he rounded up prostitutes and brought them back to the mansion, checked them for STDs, and subsequently passed them on to his guests for sex.
"We were all kind of gaslit and expected to think of [Hefner] as, like, this really good guy [...] You started to feel like, 'Oh, he's not what they say in the media — he's just a nice man,'" she recalled.
As for Anderson, her upcoming Netflix documentary, Pamela: A Love Story, is set for release on Tuesday (January 31).
