Pink has revealed that her daughter is the only 11-year-old in her class without a cell phone - and that will continue to be the case until she provides proof that social media is "good for you."

The mom of two sat down with KTU 103.5 FM recently to talk about a whole host of subjects including her new album and, of course, her relatively strict parenting style where gadgets are concerned.

Speaking on the Carolina With Greg T In The Morning Show, the 43-year-old hitmaker revealed that she has had to put her foot down about the no-phone policy as her daughter Willow had questioned her famous mom's decision.

What makes it all the more difficult for Pink to argue her case is that every other 11-year-old in Willow's class has a phone.

"My kids don’t have a phone, and my daughter is the only 11-year-old in her class that doesn’t have one," she said. "It’s hard. A lot of my friends, they have their kids on TikTok, and I don’t. I told Willow, ‘That just doesn’t move my needle. They’re not my kids. You’re my kid.'"

Willow having such a famous mom adds an extra layer of complexity to the anti-social media policy, Pink went on to say.

"She has a lot of eyes on her," she said.

Her reasoning behind wanting to steer the youngster away from social media is that it can be damaging to an impressionable mind.

Pink continued: "I told her, point blank, ‘If you can produce literature from a reputable source that tells me that social media is good for you, then you can be on it. Otherwise, good luck. She could be a lawyer, she could literally pass the bar. She’s always right. She might actually find that literature, but good luck!"

The mom shares both Willow and six-year-old son Jameson Moon with her husband Carey Hart, who she's been married to since 2006.

The 'So What' singer revealed last month that she will be joined by her two children when she goes back on tour this summer. In fact, Willow will even have a job on the tour.

Pink explained on TODAY: "Willow has a job on tour, we just had to go over minimum wage and it’s different state to state."

She went on: "I said it’s about $22.50 a show depending how long I go, if I run over. She goes, ‘I’ll take $20. it’s easier to do the math.’ I’m like ‘That’s not how you negotiate for yourself.’ I’m like, ‘You’ll take $25 so it’s easier math'."
