Post Malone has become one of the most instantly recognizable faces on the planet.

Still just 24 years old, Post has catapulted to a stratospheric level of fame in an extremely short period of time, and his inked visage has become almost as famous as his music.

Post has been taking his appearance firmly in hand during the coronavirus pandemic, and last month shared a photo of a haircut he had given himself along with the caption, "I cut my own mullet today, mom."

Whenever someone I know gets a new tattoo, I tend to tell them that I love it, regardless of my true feelings.

I think it's because tattoos are - let's face it - a fairly permanent fixture, unless you choose to undergo painful laser removal surgery.

There are a lot of truly excellent tattoos out there though, and a great many of them have found their home on the face and body of Post Malone.

To celebrate the end of last year, Post treated himself to a large new face tattoo, and now it appears he's taken things to the next level. Yes, Post took to Instagram yesterday to share a glimpse of his new look with fans. His hair appears to have been shaved off, and in its place is a large new tattoo on his skull... of what seems to be, well, a skull.

Post captioned the post;

"I have cut my hair even shorter, also skeletons are cool. Spread your heart as much as you can. A little love goes farther than you think. Stay strong, and keep kicking ass. Love, Austin"

It has been a turbulent year for all of us thus far, but it seems that one thing is certain; Post Malone will keep on adding to his large collection of tattoos.
