Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's eldest daughter, Violet, is always seen wearing a medical mask, and there's a reason for this.
The celebrity couple was married for 13 years before splitting up in 2018, though they have maintained a strong co-parenting relationship for their three children.
Affleck and Garner have been there for their kids, and they were there when Violet needed them most.
Now 20, Violet was seen being helped into an urgent care facility in Los Angeles by her parents, as she appeared to struggle with walking while leaning on her parents.
They stayed by her side, supporting her as she went into the building - Violet would come out hours later, walking on crutches while sporting a boot on her foot.
She was last seen with her parents just two weeks ago during a family outing, though she wasn't wearing a face mask, which she often wears.
Violet is known for wearing face masks while getting out and about, and it's because she contracted a post-viral condition in 2019.
Since then, she has advocated for mask use and public health protections.
In fact, she even addressed the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in July 2024, calling for them to improve mask access and provide stronger health protections.
The then-teenager also spoke at a United Nations event, urging leaders to normalize the use of masks and clean air technology to improve indoor air quality and lower the spread of airborne diseases.
There are many post-viral conditions linked with Covid-19, with these being referred to as "long Covid, which shows in symptoms such as muscle aches, fatigue, shortness of breath, and more."
Violet spoke to the officials back in 2024, explaining: "I contracted a post-viral condition in 2019 - I'm okay now but I saw firsthand that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses.
"The Covid-19 pandemic has thrown that into sharper relief - one in 10 infections leads to Long Covid, which is a devastating neurological cardiovascular illness, that can take away people's ability to work, move, and see," she claims.
She said that this can "exacerbate" the homeless crisis ongoing in the city, with women, disabled people, elderly people, trans people, and people of color more likely to be affected.
Violet spoke of those in an essential job who may find it hardest to avoid contracting the illness.
She added: "To confront the Long Covid crisis, I demand mask availability, air filtration, and far-UVC light in government facilities including jails and detention centers, and mask mandates in County medical facilities."
The activist claimed that the most important thing is that "the county must oppose mask bans for any reason."
Violet also called for the increased availability of high-quality free tests and treatment.
