Rebel Wilson shares incredible throwback picture with empowering message to her younger self

Rebel Wilson has taken to Instagram this week to share an incredible throwback picture of herself as a child along with an empowering message following her recent weight loss.

In a post shared with her 9.5 million followers on the social media platform, the 41-year-old Australian actress and Pitch Perfect star uploaded a picture of herself as a little girl of only a few years old, wearing a blue-and-white dress and a pair of sunglasses.

Rebel captioned the post: "Don’t worry kid! Your life’s gunna turn out GREAT!!  [sic]."

Wilson's cute picture has since picked up a lot of positive attention from her fans and followers since she shared it on March 1. Currently it has accrued over 78,000 likes and a further 200 comments from other Instagram users as of the time of writing.

For instance, one person wrote: "That's class !! You can see it's you! Lovely pic [sic]."

Another commenter added: "I mean can you be any cuter!!! [sic]"

A third commenter wrote: "Aww love that little dress.....so cute. [sic]"

Finally, someone else added: "So cute, little Rebel. [sic]"

This post comes not long after Rebel also shared another personal photo from her past – this time of her younger self playing tennis.

Taking to her official Twitter account, Rebel captioned the post: "I don’t know whether you guys know this but my original career goal was to be a professional tennis player. Didn’t quite work out, so I settled for international movie star. [sic]."

These super-positive throwback posts come not long after Wilson revealed to the world that she has become single again, following a breakup with her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend of two years, Jacob Busch – billionaire heir to the company Anheuser-Busch.

An unnamed source allegedly told E! News that the couple broke up over a range of factors, including the pressure of maintaining a long-distance relationship, although the split was amicable.

The insider in question stated: "There wasn't one incident that really happened to end things, the relationship just ran its course and fizzled out. They had a great time together and remain good friends."
