Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are celebrating an incredible milestone in their relationship, after reaching 40 years of marriage.
The couple first met all the way back in 1970, when Sharon was just 18. Ozzy was married to his first wife at the time, Thelma Riley, with whom he shares three children.
Sharon took over managing Ozzy after her father, Don Arden, fired him from Black Sabbath in 1979. Ozzy and Sharon's relationship then started to grow romantic, and the pair married in Hawaii in 1982 - not long after Ozzy's divorce from Riley was finalized.
The legendary rocker took to Instagram on Monday to mark the special occasion, sharing a throwback picture from the couple's wedding day.
Ozzy captioned the post: "40 Years Ago Today! Happy Anniversary My Love".
Additionally, Sharon also took to the social media platform to share a message with her fans to mark her 40th anniversary.
The former X-Factor judge wrote: "2022 is a special year for me. It marks 40 years of marriage to my darling Ozzy. We first met when I was 18, over 52 years we have been friends, lovers, husband and wife, grandparents, and soulmates. Always at each other’s side. I love you Ozzy ~ Sharrrrrrron x"
Within the first three years of their marriage, Sharon and Ozzy welcomed daughters Aimee and Kelly, and son Jack.
Per Us Weekly, their relationship became turbulent in 1989 as Ozzy battled substance abuse issues - causing him to attack Sharon.
The rocker was arrested for attempted murder, and would spend six months in medical detention as a result.
Back in 2020, Sharon spoke about the incident on the Biography: Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne documentary.
"I had no idea who was sat across from me on the sofa but it wasn’t my husband. He goes to a stage where he gets that look in his eyes, the shutters were down and I just couldn’t get through to him," she said. "And he just said, 'We’ve come to a decision that you’ve got to die.'
"He was calm — very calm — then suddenly he lunged across at me and just dived on me and started to choke me."
Police arrived at the scene after Sharon was able to hit a panic button.
However, this would not be the end of their relationship, as she recalled in the documentary: "Thank God the judge put him in treatment for six months. I had time to really think about what he should do.
"I told him, 'I don’t want the money ... but if you do this again, either I am going to kill you or you are going to kill me. And do you want that for the kids?'"
On March 5, 2002, audiences were delighted to get closer than ever to the family when the hit reality show The Osbournes debuted on MTV.

The show instantly became a huge part of pop culture, with the series running for four seasons and a total of 52 episodes.
In 2016, Sharon and Ozzy's relationship was once again tested, when a Ozzy was accused of having an affair with a hair stylist.
After the accusations led to the couple separating, Sharon said on The Talk: "I honestly at this point today have no idea what I’m going to be doing with the rest of my life.
"I don’t know where I’m going, who I’m going with. And I just need time to think. And really think about myself, about what do I really want for … Because I’m 63 years of age and I can’t keep living like this."

Fortunately, the pair were able to overcome the ordeal, with Ozzy later admitting that he had battled sex addiction.
In 2017, the pair renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas, with Ozzy later revealing that the ceremony felt like "a new beginning" for the couple.
Congratulations to Ozzy and Sharon!
