Most of us have imagined what we will look like down the line, and thanks to apps and photoshop, we can get a pretty good idea.

But as we all know, the aging process is affected by a lot of things including a person's genes, diet, and these days, whether or not they chose to have any cosmetic procedures!

Now, one man has posted a picture of a magazine's prediction of what David Beckham would look like in 2020, and it couldn't have been more wrong.

Beckham's even influencing his son's appearance, and in the video below, he explains how he inspired his son's first tattoo:

The picture was posted to Twitter with the caption: "Going through some old @FourFourTwo mags from 1998 at the #carboot. This is how they imagined David Beckham would look in 2020."

Needless to say, the magazine was far off the mark when it came to Beckham's 2020 appearance.

Contrary to what the magazine suggested, Beckham still has a full set of teeth.

To put how good Beckham, 45, looks these days into context, this is him at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding in 2018.

The tweet did not go unnoticed, either, and this is what users of the social media website had to say about it.

One pointed out the additional prediction that Posh Spice would have significantly increased in weight by 2020.

Alongside laughing emojis, they wrote: "Posh Spice, who has ballooned to 20st....."

Meanwhile, one Twitter user simply replied with a black and white gif of Frankenstein's monster.

However, despite the fact that the picture looks nothing like Beckham in 2020, one Twitter user thought it was bang on.

They wrote: "Spot on, apart from all the doodles he's got."

We can only assume the tweet above was a joke, but regardless, one thing's for sure, photoshop certainly wasn't as good in the nineties as it is today.

David Beckham is not the only person in his immediate circle who is aging like a fine wine, and back in August, fans claimed that Brooklyn Beckham's future mother-in-law looks the same age as his 25-year-old fiancée.
