It's often said that if you want to know what a person will look like later in life, look at their parents, and you'll supposedly have a good idea about the quality of their genes.

And one person who has lucked out more than most in this department is Brooklyn Beckham, whose future mother-in-law looks the same age as his 25-year-old fiancée, Nicola Peltz.

David Beckham had a big influence on Brooklyn's first tattoo:

Nicola recently shared pictures of her lookalike 65-year-old mom, Claudia Heffner Peltz, on the social media website and all we can say is: Wow!

Nicola captioned her mother's mirror selfie: "I miss my mom so much how beautiful is she."

Sharing another picture of her age-defying mother, Nicola wrote: "My earth angel."

Nicola has spent the past few months shielding from the pandemic with Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

Unsurprisingly, her mom Claudia is a former fashion model, however, unlike her actress daughter, she prefers to stay away from the spotlight and spends her time as a stay-at-home mom.

Brooklyn took to Instagram last month to reveal that he had asked his "soulmate" for her hand in marriage.

Nichola's engagement ring, which can be seen in the picture above, is reported by The Sun to have cost £250,000, which is the equivalent of $326,925 USD.

"The emerald cut engagement ring is estimated to feature a 4.5-5 carat diamond," The Sun reports.

An insider has revealed that Brooklyn's parents, David, 45, and m0m Victoria, 46, have given their blessing to their son's upcoming marriage.

They said: "Brooklyn has been telling his friends in LA that he and Nicola are engaged. It's common knowledge among their group of friends. They are smitten.

"It's a very exciting time for the whole family and after a few previous rocky relationships, they think Brooklyn has landed on his feet."
