A heavy metal fan allegedly defecated in the middle of a moshpit, leaving concertgoers vomiting and fleeing the crowd.
The bizarre incident took place during a Devilskin show in Dunedin, New Zealand, where fans had packed into the venue for a night of live music.
As the crowd moshed to the band's music, many had no idea they were dancing through human waste until someone noticed what was on the floor.
One concertgoer, Damian, described witnessing the incident unfold, saying: "The guy who was directly in front of me proceeded to shake a log down his leg," per The Sun.
Damian said the man then kicked the feces away before accidentally stepping in it himself.
"We shuffled to the side a metre or three, then I realized that I needed to alert security," he recalled. "One guard came over, and verified with me the culprit and saw the offensive material on the floor."
Devilskin temporarily stopped the performance while security dealt with the situation.
When lead singer Jennie Skulander learned why the show had been interrupted, her reaction was simple: "Poo. EW!"
By that point, several people had already walked through the mess.
One person spoke about the chaotic scene. "It was a rock and metal concert so there was a lot of jumping," they said. "And then eventually someone must have, like, looked down and noticed that there was just a huge mess of s**t, just completely spread all in the mosh pit, like, all over the floor.
"It’s on people’s feet. People are wearing skirts and s**t is up their legs and stuff, and then one girl went bleh - just vomited on the s**t - and then everyone else starts vomiting," they added.
She added that the mess was "huge".
The smell reportedly became so overwhelming that people rushed out of the venue, leaving footprints behind them.
The attendee continued: "When this was happening, there’s people in the foyer, and you would have thought someone had died.
"They were just bawling their eyes out - they were just hysterical.
"There was one lady with vomit in her hair, s**t on her legs, and just crying, crying, crying," they claimed.
Although the concert eventually resumed, fans reportedly avoided the affected area, leaving a large space in the middle of the moshpit for the rest of the night.
After the concert, Devilskin appeared to see the funny side of the incident, joking on Instagram about their "Diaper of Doom."
Other fans also found their response hilarious. "As a Dad of two, I totally approve," one said, while another added: "lol, this is too good." A third quipped: "Comedic genius."
However, Daniel Leamy, president of the Otago University Students' Association, which operates the venue, has encouraged people to treat the situation with compassion.
"It was an unfortunate medical incident and should be respected as such," he said. "The individual involved remained fully clothed throughout, and this was in no way a deliberate 'code brown' situation. They were willingly escorted from the venue by security once staff had assessed the best course of action.
"Staff evaluated and managed an unforeseen and sensitive situation safely and professionally," the statement concluded.

A free concert in Las Vegas reportedly descended into chaos over the weekend after extreme heat caused a number of attendees to become ill, by fainting and vomiting in the mass crowds.
Fans attending Sleeping With Sirens’ performance on Saturday at the Fremont Street Experience said they were squeezed tightly together as they gathered to watch the rock band. The outdoor venue quickly became overwhelming as temperatures climbed above 100°F.
The combination of soaring heat, overcrowding and limited access to water for those stuck in the middle of the crowd led to distressing scenes, with some attendees saying they felt trapped and unable to leave the event.
As conditions worsened, panic began spreading through the audience. One concertgoer said people around her were collapsing one after another.
“People were just dropping like flies right in front of me,” she claimed.
Speaking to KLAS News, another attendee claimed the organisers were not prepared for the size of the crowd that turned up.
“I don’t think they were equipped for the crowd that was going to be there, and by the time they realised it, it was too late.
“It was getting worse and worse. It was so bad, people were standing in the middle of the metal detectors," she added.
Another fan described how the crowd became increasingly uncomfortable, saying she and those around her began feeling the pressure as people struggled in the tightly confined space, as they contended with both spatial constraints and the heat.
“We stayed for about three and a half, four songs, and we just started getting crunched more and more,” she explained.
Apparently, the excitement of attending the concert quickly turned into concern after seeing people become unwell around her.
“There were people passing out next to us, behind us, everywhere,” she claimed.
The Fremont Street Experience, a pedestrian mall and outdoor entertainment area where the concert was held, later responded to the incident.
In a statement to KLAS News, the venue said guests were allowed to bring sealed plastic bottles into the concert area, while certain containers were restricted.
“Guests attending Fremont Street Experience Special Events are welcome to bring sealed, plastic bottles into the concert area. For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, glass containers, aluminium cans and metal bottles are not permitted. We appreciate everyone’s co-operation in helping us provide a safe and enjoyable experience at Fremont Street Experience.”
The lead singer of rock band Brass Against was filmed on video pulling down her pants and peeing on a fan's face during a concert in Florida.
Sophia Urista, the band's frontwoman, shocked crowds with the crude display at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona.
The band, known for covering songs by bands such as Soundgarden and Black Sabbath, was performing a rendition of 'Wake Up' by Rage Against the Machine when the incident occurred.
After inviting a fan on stage, Urista instructed him to lie down. She then proceeded to pull down her trousers and appeared to urinate on his face, while still performing the song, TMZ reports.
Those at the show in Daytona Beach, Florida, and people watching the clips online branded the moment "disgusting".
The disturbing stunt was captured on video by people who were just feet away watching it unfold in the crowd. The man then got up and spewed up some of the urine in the direction of the audience.
The New York-based band has since apologized for the stunt and said Urista got "carried away".
"We had a great time last night at Welcome to Rockville," they said in a post on Twitter. "Sophia got carried away. That’s not something the rest of us expected, and it’s not something you’ll see again at our shows. Thanks for bringing it last night, Daytona."
The band's Facebook page, which boasts over 450,000 fans, describes them as "a collective with the goal of creating music to inspire social and personal change".
Before the ordeal, Urista was heard telling the crowd that she needed to urinate.
"Get my man with the can on his head ready, 'cause we're going to bring him onstage and I'ma p*** in this motherf***er's mouth," she said. "I gotta pee," she added. "And I can't make it to the bathroom. So we might as well make a show out of it."
The comments were turned off on that post, but several Instagram users gave the band a mouthful in their previous post, which announced a European tour.
"Now is the urinating on people a VIP experience?" one user wrote. "Will you be p***ing across Europe?" another quipped.
"These people are losing their sanity.. Its disgusting," another wrote.
Others, however, suggested that the man who was brought up on stage was a willing participant who didn't seem to be disturbed in the video footage.
"Yeah ... the guy literally wanted it to happen. I’m not supporting it in any way but I don’t think [Urista] should be entirely to blame here," one person wrote.
Pink was left stunned after having to deal with a very different type of stage invader during a concert in London, recently.
The singer was performing at the Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park in London when, only four songs into her set, a fan's mom made her way onto the stage.
Only this wasn't an overexcited superfan trying to get close to their most beloved pop star. This was, in fact, the remains of a fan's deceased mother. In a little bag.
Now, bags of white powder being found onstage during a concert probably isn't that rare of a thing. However, when the said powder is the incinerated remains of a fan's parent, we can probably make an educated guess that this sort of deal doesn't happen too often.
The 'So What' star was, understandably, visibly disturbed by the incident, asking: "Is this your mom?" And when Pink received an affirmative reply, she added: "I don't know how I feel about this". Check out the video below:
Per News.com.au, Pink then placed the ashes behind the speakers at the front of the stage before continuing on with her 2002 smash hit 'Just Like a Pill'.
Despite the singer carrying on with the gig as if the most bizarre event in the world had not just happened, fans in attendance were less understanding and, as usual, took to social media to express their outrage at the situation.
One Twitter user, sharing a video of the incident, said: "Someone gave their Mother's ashes to Pink. I need yall to have boundaries like girl what?!"
Another user added in a quote tweet, "I don’t understand how in any world this is ok? Pink handled it like a pro as per usual, but this is just a big fat no! Get some boundaries! Why on earth would you throw your mum's ashes at her!"
In one unintentionally funny tweet, an unimpressed fan claimed the move was 'a step too far' which may just be the understatement of the century.
We should perhaps be thankful that no one in attendance went down the Keith Richards route with the remains. The Rolling Stones guitarist infamously claimed in an interview that he snorted his deceased father's ashes, per The Guardian.
So, note to all future concertgoers. Do not, we repeat DO NOT take your dead relatives to gigs with you. And definitely do not throw them on stage at any point of the show. Unless you're doing a 'Weekend At Bernies' sort of deal, in which case, absolutely go for it. The classics are classics for a reason.
A black metal band has issued an apology to vegans following outrage over a pig's head being thrown into the crowd at their concert.
The group named Martyrdom played a show at the White Swan in Houston, Texas on Friday (January 19), where the bands Devoured Trachea and Accosted were headlining.
According to footage shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @SALVIATALKSHOW, an unsettling event took place as a severed pig's head was flung toward the back of the audience.
One shocked concertgoer couldn't believe that pigs could fly as they were heard exclaiming "Gross!" over the blaring music.
If you're wondering how social media reacted to the video, the answer's negative as the band is now facing backlash for the strange stunt.
Many people have pointed out that the act itself is animal cruelty, with one user writing: "Corny ** with that Lord Of The Flies s**t. Go vegan."
Another user commented: "Personally I don't think the m** who do this shit should be allowed to breathe the same air as the rest of us, undeserving of basic human rights," and added in a follow-up post: "I'm not one for saying 'venues should or shouldn't do this or that,' but considering the amount of diseases a real actual severed animal head can carry maybe the white swan should, idk, tell these kids no next time. That's not 'cool' that's a biohazard."
A third commented: "Imagine being a straight-edge vegan punk just to have a dead pig's head thrown at you in the pit I'm literally nauseous."
A fourth user quipped: "If I got hit with a severed pig's head at a show, I’m entering my militant vegan arc on the spot, straight up."
Others were just simply grossed out by the ordeal: "Don’t do this. It was a health and safety hazard when black metal bands were doing this in the 90/00’s, and it’s a health and safety hazard now. Also, f***ing gross dude."
"Maybe I’m just old but I feel like people these days go to shows and do insane s*** to prove how cool and tough they are but it just ruins the experience for everyone else, even them because they’re too busy trying to do their stupid shtick instead of enjoying the music lmao," someone else interjected.
After seeing criticism from those in the vegan community and other individuals, Martyrdom put out the following statement expressing regret over the act.
Via Lambgoat, the apology read: "Hi everyone. We just want to start off by saying we are incredibly sorry to anyone we offended with our actions and gimmicks on stage. We are a black metal band, and as part of it, we try to add a little bit of imagery and shock value to our set."
The band said the act has "gotten carried away and way out of hand, offending many and even harming some," and apologized to vegans, Muslims, and other minority groups.
"Most importantly we want to apologize to the White Swan, and Harry, the sound guy, specifically. Thank you so much white swan for giving us the opportunity to play there," they concluded.
Pink was forced to pause a show in Australia after a concertgoer suddenly went into labor mid-song.
On Friday (February 9) the pop artist - whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore - was performing at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney to kick off her 2024 Summer Carnival tour.
While performing her balled 'Our Song' from her 2023 album Trustfall, the singer noticed a group of fans "waving for help" from the mosh pit.
Footage shared online reveals the singer asking: "Are we good?" before requesting medical assistance. A few moments later, she realized what was happening and exclaimed: "Somebody’s having a baby?! Oh my God!"
Watch the moment below:After noticing that the fan was in labor, the award-winning singer joked: "Is it Alecia or Alex being born? I feel like we shouldn’t be looking. Everyone give her her privacy! She didn’t just have the baby, right? Is the baby here? No, OK."
The 'Just Give Me A Reason' star then congratulated the woman and said: "Wow, 'Our Song' - that was the one that did it. Wouldn’t have called that one! I thought it would’ve been 'Get The Party Started' or 'Never Not Gonna Dance Again.' That’s insane."
"I don’t even know what to say... Good luck! It’s going to be great. You’re going to be great," she added.
Many people flocked to the comment section to share their awe-struck reactions to the moment. One user joked: "Imagine on the kid’s first day of school and the teacher does those icebreakers. Kid: 'I went to a Pink’s concert when I was one day old.'"
Another user applauded: "Now that’s dedication to being a fan!!! Congratulations to the mom. May she have had an easy delivery and pray both baby and mom are doing great. Let’s get pink to go see her. Best gift!!!"
Someone else praised the singer for pausing the show: "Haha poor Pink, she didn't know what to do. She is such an amazing person," and a fourth quipped: "Being congratulated by Pink would be the most memorable event."
Shockingly, this isn't the first time someone gave birth at the 'So What' singer's concert as back in 2019, a woman named Denise Jones went into labor while Pink was performing 'Get the Party Started' in Liverpool.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Jones was taken by crowd doctors to the stadium’s first aid room where medics delivered the baby.
"There was no equipment in the first aid room, just a couple of beds," Dr John Matthews, one of the medics, told the outlet. "This doesn’t happen very often and I’d never delivered a baby in Anfield before. When things go well, it’s always a good feeling."
The concertgoer initially planned to name her newborn Dolly Louise but has since changed it to Dolly Pink, to commemorate the unorthodox birth delivery. "I’m still massively in shock, just a bit gutted I missed the concert," she joked.
The musician herself found out about the ordeal and shared a screenshot of the news on her Instagram, writing: "Dolly Pink wanted to get the party started."
Congratulations to the fan!
