A staggering sum of $108,386 (at the time of writing) has been raised to cover the funeral costs of a young man who was killed in an alleged drunk driving incident after leaving a Taylor Swift concert in Houston on Friday.

According to a GoFundMe set up in the wake of his untimely passing, Jacob Lewis, 20, and his sister were coming back home from Taylor Swift's Era Tour in Houston when their car stalled.

"Jacob at once started to push the car when he was tragically hit and killed by a drunk driver," according to the description on the GoFundMe page.

As reported by local news outlet KHOU 11, authorities identified Alan Bryant, 34, as the alleged drunk driver who fled the scene after the accidental crash. He was charged with failure to stop and give aid and is currently being held at the Harris Country Jail.

Jacob's sister was also injured in the collision, but her injuries were not fatal.

Per the outlet, Jacob's father Steve Lewis said: "You know, to make it worse, the driver got out, helped my daughter get my son out from under his car, saw what had happened and got in his car and left."

He added: "I hope that everybody who knew Jacob was touched by him and he was a good part of their lives."

The fundraiser was set up by those in "the Pokémon Community of Houston" to help the grieving father "honor the memory of his son by raising money for flowers and funeral costs."

In the GoFundMe, Steve was described as "a prominent leader within the Houston Pokémon scene."

The page reads: "Jacob Lewis spent many years playing the Pokemon TCG in the Houston area He had completed the World Championships, the highest-level event, for many years. Because of this, he has inspired many others to strive for more."

It continues: "Steve is one of the trusted and knowledgeable people within Houston regarding Pokémon. A true leader of the community. It hurts us to see him suffer such a loss."

Donors have left touching comments on the GoFundMe site, with one who knew Jacob personally, writing: "Jacob touched the heart of every person who had the privilege to know him. He was good and kind in the truest sense of the words. He will be sorely missed.

"To the Lewis family- I pass along my sincere condolences. I will never forget my time with Jacob at Theatre Victoria. You raised a special young man. Jacob, I will treasure the memories of driving you home to your grandparents' house and singing 'Hey Jude' at the top of our lungs after rehearsals and shows for the rest of my life. You're my brother for life."

Another penned: "Long Live Jacob. As I hear this story unfold about a stranger who shares my love for Taylor Swift, and who was at the concert in Houston the same weekend I was, I can’t help but be upset. My brothers name is Jacob too. Praying for his family, especially his sister. Sending all my love."

A Pink fan was left seething after he was expected to pay extra to get a ticket for their newborn.

Now, concert tickets aren't cheap these days, and one family was forced to learn things the hard way when a concert stadium in Sydney, Australia told them they had to fork out another $120 just for their newborn to attend the gig.

Speaking to 7News, the anonymous Pink fan said that he, his sister and their extended family were all attending the pop star's Summer Carnival concert, and therefore they had no one else to look after his sister’s baby, who was only nine weeks old.

With the $180 per person tickets purchased in early 2023, the family had not planned to be taking a baby.

After reaching out to Accor via Facebook Messenger to enquire about a different issue which involved taking a nappy bag into the venue, the ticket holder was shocked to learn that they would have to pay full price to take the baby in.

"We found it disgraceful that a baby had to purchase a ticket when they were going to be in a baby carrier or on my sister’s chest," the man said.

The man messaged Accor, primarily about the eligibility of the nappy bag the family was proposing to take.

"Can you tell me whether we will be allowed to bring a nappy bag? Also, just confirming she won’t need a ticket?" he man said in his message to the organizer.

The stadium responded back saying: "There is no issue bringing a nappy bag, but all attendees must have a ticket to enter, regardless of age."

The man, who was clearly confused, replied: "This is a sold-out event and a ticket for a nine-week-old that can’t see or even sit is required?"

"That is correct and the age policy set for this show by the promoter," a representative for the stadium stated.

In a drastic turn of events, it seems as though Accor has now made a U-turn on the decision.

As reported by the outlet, "the stadium is allowing the baby free-of-charge entry and has given the man’s family upgraded seats and parking closer to the stadium."

"They have moved my tickets closer to the event due to the issue and have given me closer parking too," he told 7NEWS.com.au, calling it a "wonderful outcome."

The man also added that while this may have been a good outcome this time, he believes it was because he appraoched the media with his story and the public pressure on the company is what made them change their minds.

Well, in the end, all is well and we hope the nine-week-old also has a great time at the concert.

Taylor Swift has inadvertently helped another student to pay off their college tuition bills - all thanks to the ridiculously high resale value of her Eras Tour tickets.

Now any Swifty will know that the 'Style' songstress is no stranger to changing fans' lives, having often gone out of her way to send her most devoted fans personalized gifts as well as paying toward their education.

And while she may not have directly paid off this particular fan's tuition herself, she managed to help him with his college fees by proxy after he racked up a huge $14,000 by reselling his tickets.

Isaac Jarman went viral on TikTok after he revealed his massive stroke of luck by getting such a huge amount in return for his tickets.

He took to the video-sharing platform to tell his followers: "To whoever just bought my Taylor Swift tickets for FOURTEEN THOUSAND dollars, I love you. Thank you for literally paying for my college tuition."

Taylor's song 'Cruel Summer' could be heard playing over the video as he added: "hope you enjoy the show so much. I wish I could be there but also 14k is pretty nice too, idk. Anyways enjoy that fourth row for me."

Fans have had a hard time getting their hands on tickets to the long-awaited tour, with tickets for her fully-booked dates at Inglewood's SoFi Stadium retailing from $49 to $449.

While their retail price isn't unaffordable for Swifties on any level of income, the demand was so great they sold out in minutes and were soon put on resale sites for greatly inflated asking prices.

Those who were lucky enough to bag tickets but decided to try their luck at making a profit on them instead of actually going to the show have been listing them for between $800 and $11,000 online at present, depending on the caliber of the seats.

Given Isaac's ones were in the fourth row, it's no wonder they commandeered a hefty price tag.

Understandably, his windfall provoked a mixture of reactions from fans, with some congratulating him on getting such a huge return while others were angry that it was affecting the ticket sales business.

They commented: "Taylor Swift casually destroying the concert industry", and "Turns out the scalpers we've been talking about are ppl our own age."

Others added: "You're real for this and I'm not afraid to say it" and "yall are saying it's outrageous but someone ACTUALLY bought them."

While that is a ridiculously high price for concert tickets, someone was clearly a big enough fan of Taylor with a big enough bank balance to want to buy them and help Isaac out with his tuition as a bonus.

We imagine being at a Post Malone concert as an 11-year-old is a pretty wild enough experience on its own, but imagine you come away with a memento from the man himself.

This wasn't a dream, but an incredible reality for one lucky kid at Malone's recent gig in Tampa Bay.

The 11-year-old, Winter, apparently made just as much of an impression on the Circles star as Malone did on her because, at the end of the show, the man himself came down from the stage to gift Winter his own personal guitar, reportedly worth in the region of $5,000.

And not only that, Malone had signed the axe as well.

Speaking to TMZ, Winter's mom, Jenn explained that both Winter and her other daughter, Brooklyn, are huge Post Malone fans, with this most recent gig on Tuesday night (August 1) the fifth PM show they've attended. Jenn also revealed that they've seen Malone gift smashed up guitars to fans after shows but have never seen him gift a pristine signed one like Winter received on Tuesday night.

According to TMZ, Winter doesn't know how to play the guitar yet, although we suspect this week's surprise gift may just be the right spark to make her want to follow in her hero's footsteps.

When handing the guitar over, Malone made Winter promise to treat the instrument with respect, and Jenn assured TMZ that that's what they'll do. Winter's current plan is to display the guitar in a case on her bedroom wall and never sell it.

As for Brooklyn, she didn't come away from the show in Tampa Bay empty-handed either. She was gifted Malone's sweaty post-show shirt and socks. Hopefully, she gives them a wash before displaying or wearing them though.

Malone, meanwhile, continues on tour, playing Dallas, TX tonight and tomorrow (August 5 and 6) and continuing through the South West, up to California before his shows reach South America on August 29 with a gig in Santiago, Chile. His final date for the year is currently listed as December 3, which will see the Sunflower singer play the Spilt Milk Festival in Perth, Australia.

Last Friday (July 28), Malone released his latest album, Austin, which has so far been very well received by critics and fans alike. The record is Malone's fifth, following on from last year's Twelve Carat Toothache, 2019's Hollywood's Bleeding, Beerbongs and Bentleys in 2018, and his 2016 debut Stoney.

Fans have been shocked to find out that Travis Kelce gifted Taylor Swift a $6,000 bracelet right before his latest AFC Championship game.

The event, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens go head-to-head at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, played host to some great moments including some awesome play by Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Isiah Pacheco who all helped their team secure the victory.

The Chiefs beat the Ravens 17-10 and have now secured themselves a spot at this month's Super Bowl which is set to take place on the 11th.

Swift was spotted at the game cheering her man on and afterward, went onto the pitch to give him some TLC after such an important match.

While some fans were swept up in the cuteness of their interactions, other eagle-eyed fans had their eyes on something else: Swift's diamond bracelet.

The bracelet has since been revealed to have been created by Pennsylvania-based custom jewelers Wove, who shared more details on Kelce's gift after the game.

Taking to TikTok and Instagram, Kendall Junck, who is a lead designer at the branch, explained that all of the company's items are one of a kind, but that Swift's bracelet was one of the statement pieces from a collection created in collaboration with golfer Michelle Wie West.

"The inspiration for this collection came from the friendship bracelet... all pieces in the collection are customizable," Junck explained. "We cannot believe that this is on Taylor's wrist... this is just like the greatest honor ever."

She then revealed that Swift's bracelet is actually one of a matching pair that Kelce requested to be made for him and his lover. Both matching pieces feature a band of diamonds and three small gold discs with the letters 'TNT' - a nod to their first names 'Travis and Taylor.'

Of course, the bracelet is all the more meaningful as the NFL star revealed he tried to give Swift his number on a bracelet when he attended one of her concerts last year - a common tradition for Swifties.

He opened up about the interaction during a podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, stating how he tried to show her he was interested.

The football player then opened up about his plan to grab her attention during an interview on The Pat McAfee Show last year, saying: "I threw it out there. I threw the ball in her court. I told her, 'I've seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead [Stadium], you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit.

"So, we'll see what happens in the near future. Alright now," he added.

And it seems as though Swift took him up on his invitation after shocking fans as she sat alongside Kelce's mom at a game on September 24 where the Chiefs took on the Chicago Bears at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

And now the rest is history!
